Luz upcycles is the channel of Luz, who upcycles, she upcycles a lot!, sewing and upcycling have been her passions for a long time. Come and see what she gets up to these days. Never let a fabric scrap go to waste!.
I'm sorry you don't feel well. I hope you are well soon. Love the little pouches. Honestly, I used to sew every day until my kids grew up and now I feel out of practice. But sewing pouches could be a good project for a rewarding feeling once complete. I resewed a zipper on my raincoat yesterday but wanted to make something from scratch and feel instant satisfaction. So, I sewed a king size pillow case in some cotton fabric I got years ago from a fabric store that was going out of business. I slept on my new pillowcase. I looks so cute! Thank you for your inspiration.
Thank you lovely. I totally understand wanted to get the satisfaction of getting the gift that you have made for yourself, pouches could be the next project! or a cute bag to do shopping, on my next video I am making a very simple sewing garment you might like as well 😁❤️
Excellent work. Excellent goal to create a brand. I am thinking of doing that with denim skirts. You are an inspiration to me. I am Canadian but of Dutch parents from northern holland. Have relatives in Groningen and Utrecht.
I think you should do it! I am still working on it, there is so much to do! I have visited both of those cities really loved them! we are thinking of maybe moving to Utrecht, it is so nice! Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
I love the use of the collars as straps. Also thankyou for teaching me a new Spanish word - I am learning Spanish at the moment. 🙂 BTW your English is very good.
Love all the recycling ideas. I love Zero Waste Daniel I have been following him for a while. I have one of his pieces. I did a zoom call with him once - he's so lovely. Thankyou for sharing all the ideas.🥶🤩
Oh, I love your idea. I’ve painted on fabric before. You are going to love the many different ways to add paint to fabric. Doing straight lines is pretty….try putting a blob of paint in the middle and start with your brush on the blob and go straight out with moving in a circular motion…. It looks like a star shape or a flower shape….. and try chip brushes, paint brushes, even a scrub brush that you would use to clean your bathtub….paint takes it to a different level. Love your channel
Just follow the washing instructions of the fabric, if they are wool like mine I would say to handwashing is the best, if cotton it is probably easier. Thank you lovely! 😁❤️
Wow, great job. Who would have thought painting the denim would make it look sooo different. With the leftover pieces you could make a pouch to use inside the bag for pencils, makeup or hand gel, hair scrunchy. Just so you're not having to rummage around for stuff Thanks for sharing best wishes
Your bag is gorgeous! The dark zipper looks much better, than the red. Where’s the little zipper bag? I would have liked for you to show how to put the zipper in. Also, including a pattern for this bag, would have been wonderful!!
Both of your bags look beautiful. I need to make some shopping bags for myself. Thank you for this video. I'm thinking of making some plastic templates to paint Shapes on to fabric to make my shopping bags different from others. I also want floors in my shopping bags (to keep the items in them from shifting to one side).
To clean your brushes , squirt some dish soap on the bristles and run warm water till the water runs clean. I use my fingers to squeeze the water out and to shape the brush, then put the brush in a cup with the head up to dry. You've inspired me to try something like this! Thank-you!
That was so much fun, thank you for taking us along! You made the bag and you made the fabric for it, double fun! The bag is so gorgeous, it resembles one of those old walls with layers of history.
Hi. Thank you for all the time and efforts you do. I would like to see some videos on bags, jewelry and other things. You have given me some great ideas, which is great. I really enjoy your upcycling. Also, embroider would be great.
Your ghost mug and octopus one are adorable. There is a youtuber I watch that collects mugs for the different seasons (craftygirl). You might enjoy her videos that showcase her mugs. Also, I just recently stumbled across your channel and I love your work.
