I met you on your RU-vid a few days ago. Love what you do, you are such an inspiration for me. Love all your upcycles but especially the striped top with the pink shirt sleeves. Personally I wouldn't have picked the pink but in the end it looks as it was meant to be. ❤❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing your up-cycle techniques. Why should we get rid of perfectly good wardrobe pieces because they do not fit anymore or they are out of style? Many times I will find a garment on sale I like and purchase it because of the fabric, it may be 2-3 sizes too big. Resize it when I bring it home. I liked the flowered top on you the best. Blessings.!

I thrifted a beautiful turquoise linen top that has that same little collar that just gets in the way. My next project will be to pick off that collar to make the simple banded collar like your beautiful shirt! Thank you for the idea! Beautiful work as ever. 💜💜

Well the first one looked really hard to do, they are all nice fabrics. I got an idea what you could do with your scraps, you take a big T shirt and take your scraps and make ruffles on the bottom and then you can wear it around the house like a dress or tunic.

That sheer blouse is lovely. I prefer long sleeve sheer blouses for summer. I feel like they protect my arms from the sun, I hate wearing sunscreen so that's my solution. Loose sleeves made from cotton are airy. The pink on the first shirt is nice and makes the pink pop more. I was really drawn to the blue stripe but the pink was a great choice.

That's fair, I understand, sometimes I do wear long sleeves but I get annoyed 😄 I tell wanted the blue stripe but I'm trying not to do all blue all of the time 🤩

Since the first one was already patchworked, I would have removed the band as she said, and inserted it up the middle of the back to provide more shoulder space.

PICK. LIke pick APART..UNPICK means put together.

In this context, "pick" and unpick" both mean to use a tool to pick apart stitches. The same way that "ravel" and "unravel" both mean to pull apart knitting. English has a few of these weird pairs of words -- I think at one time they meant something different but not any more. If someone says, "Oh, this seam is crooked, you're going to have to unpick it" -- the meaning is clearly to pull out the stitches so you can resew.
