Hello! This is Kiko and welcome to my channel where I share moments of my simple daily life and hobbies! 🌿
I am a floral designer by profession. In my spare time I like to garden and do lots of crafting like crocheting, sewing, and painting. I live a simple life by keeping things minimal as much as possible and finding little joys in life. I love cats and would love to adopt one in the near future! I hope you will find my videos relaxing and enjoyable! Thank you for stopping by! 😊
Hi Kiko! I love your videos and I'm learning so much just watching you! I have found that the Sakura Gelly Roll pen in white to be the best for adding highlights and detail after painting! It's so opaque and smooth - and you can get the tip in a couple of different sizes to your preference :) hope that helps!
Your work is absolutely amazing! I love how you use the embroidery floss to create the flowers. Can you give me the link to the book please. I tried to find it but couldn't. Being from West Africa we have a lot of nylon thread. It is very shiny. I think it's either acrylic or polyester nylon thread not cotton so it's very nice to make tablecloths, placemats, coasters and things like that. It's very durable. I use it a lot to make a lot of things for the living room like the little doilies that you put on the couches. We have lots of colors and I love it. I've always wanted to try using embroidery floss to crochet but I've never quite gotten the hang of it. I always thought you had to use all six trend but I've seen some people use two and other use three or four and I've never been able to split it without making a mess of the whole thing so your method is very easy so I'm definitely going to try that. Once i make some things I'll share share that on Instagram and tag you so you can actually see what I made with it. Thank you so so much for sharing this. I absolutely love it❤😍💓💕
I love love love your baskets! I’ve never seen star crochet before. I’m going to have to try it. All the goodies you bought look wonderful. Can’t wait to see what you make with the flower appliqué book. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work! ❤️❤️❤️
Very nice. I am working on a hexagon quilt right now, the kind where you put batting in each one. You probably wouldn't like it, I don't use muted colors like you. Mine is all floral fabrics, I'm trying to make it look like a garden. I am sewing it all by hand. My fingers are sore because I won't stop haha, it's too fun.
I’m fairly new to your channel and I’m catching up on old videos. I love the Lego typewriter. What a fun thing to build and have. I’ve been trying to find an old vintage one like we had when I was growing up. I would’ve stayed up playing with it as well! 😅 Your garden is so beautiful. Those dahlias are breathtaking! You make so many yummy things and I’ve been learning to cook Asian (especially Japanese) food. I’d love to know if you have a source for your recipes?
I had to smile this morning when your video came on. I was working on hexagons for a quilt I am making. Felt like I was stitching along with a friend! Really do love your videos, they are so lovely. You’re the kind of person I would want as a friend. We share so many common interests. I just watched your travel journal set up video a couple of days ago and was really taken with the style of it. I love stationary and planners and was really intrigued with this style of notebook, so I followed your link and got myself a journal and some accessories.! It was fun to see you covering that again today. The smaller passport style is very charming and would be great for taking in your bag like you are. I swear I was just on the same wavelength. Can’t wait till I get mine! Now I’m thinking about a bag because I know that leather cover could get scuffed up. I love how yours turned out! Oh, and Blackberry is absolutely darling. When will you be getting your kitty? I’ve had them my whole life and every cat is different. I currently have a long haired, fluffy, gray and white tuxedo, cat. He is a chonky boy and is very sweet and lovey. I’ve often had black cats. They’re probably my most favorite.
Thank you very much for watching! I'm so glad to hear that!! ❤️ I don't know anyone that I can share my hobbies and interests with so it makes me happy to be able to share them here! We're planning to adopt a cat sometime this year.😊
I only recently discovered your channel & really enjoy your crafting & sewing videos. I too sew, quilt & garden. Also, enjoy cooking & baking. When you mentioned you’re enjoying Mexican foods I immediately wanted to share one of my favorite chefs on RU-vid- Rick Bayless! He’s an American chef who specializes in traditional Mexican cruising. Although he’s authored many cookbooks, he shares his recipes on his RU-vid channel cooking most of the time at his home.
Thank you very much for watching! Yes! I've been enjoying Mexican food a lot lately! Thank you for introducing chef Rick Bayless's RU-vid channel! I will definitely check it out! ❤️
Thank you very much for watching! It's just my personal preference, I like earthy and muted tones. 😊 In my previous video I did a Q&A while doing sashiko. I answered a question about my color choices. If you are interested, please check it out!

Good evening Kiko, another lovely video. Thank you. I thought Blackberry very cute and the name is so in keeping with her colour. Your sewing today was lovely. The hexagons, as you say, always look so lovely together and give a neat finish. I love your new travellers notebooks. The way they are wrapped makes them a joy to open. As well as watching someone open. Yes, once you compared the two covers I could see your new one was a dark olive colour. Your snack was very delicious looking. I so could have shared that with you. I enjoy food with some spice to it. The weather, unlike yours, is not hot with me. More like autumn in the feel of it. Very difficult to know what to wear. The darker, rainier days make me feel more tired andsleepy than normal and not so enthusiastic to get up early for extra crafty time. I am missing the lovely early morning sun. However, I just go with what my body tells me it wants to do with regards sleeping patterns. This week I have done some more organising and labelling of crafty bags. As well as sorting out a yarn box. It is surprising how much is in there as it is only an A4 sized box. I think I need to make some more pom poms and do some more mini weaving. Since your last video I have been doing some paper crafting and water colour painting. Following a little on line course I am taking. Very relaxing and nothing too taxing. I have also been colouring some FPP patterns. I only have a black and white printer. So send off the front copies for colour printing and colour my printed areas. I plan to make a start on some FPP next week. So hope to be able to update you with that in your next video Kiko. I hope you have some cooler weather ahead. Do take care of yourself and hopefully you will manage some lovely crafting time. With thanks as always for your lovely calming video and take care until next time. :)
Thank you very much for watching as always! Sometimes when its a little more gloomy outside its hard to find motivation to do things and I think its ok to just go with the flow and take it easy. Organizing craft supplies is a lot of fun! I love going through my storage boxes, tidying up and seeing how much room I have left for potentially new supplies. 😅 I've made it a habit to not buy more than I can fit in the designated storage boxes. It's always nice to do more laidback crafting and art like watercolor painting. I find it very calming 😊 I'm happy to hear you're keeping busy with your hobbies but very relaxed! Happy crafting and take care!
