In this vlog, I spent the day at home crocheting a scarf, started a new slow stitching embroidery project, finished a crochet cushion, filled my watercolor palette, and more! I was inspired to crochet the puff flowers from your other video but found it difficult. I was using too small hook on dk double knit yarn. I learnt the popcorn stitch from crocheting coasters. I think it depends on type of project because I love crocheting small flowers and doilies the process although repetitive never gets boring. The other day, I was crocheting edges around card embellishments for card making and Junk journaling. I need a cushion for my stool but seat is always wobbly.

It's much easier if you start your yarn from the centre of the cake. That way it doesn't spin around.😊

How long have you been crocheting? What about painting? Your work is just Amazing and so beautiful, I would love for you to share any tips and tricks on crochet as a beginnner and how to paint or draw how to start if you have limited art skills .lol Maybe I can draw a heart. I started crocheting many years ago with amigurumi...making different stuff animals and then shifted my focus on knitting instead. It wasn't until a few months ago that I started really crocheting. I'm glad to have picked it up again and kinda wished I've been crocheting this whole time! I took 2D art in high school for a year and then stopped because I was bad at drawing and painting. I've been avoiding it all these years until I made it my New Year's resolution this year to challenge myself and pick it up again. My first art vlog that I created this past January was when I started drawing and painting again. 😊 I'm still not good at it and have so much I need to improve on so I don't have any tips for you. But I believe you can only get better if you do it and practice...so that's what I've been doing. Yes if you can, slow down once in a while and enjoy the process! I feel that its better for my mental health and I'm more productive if I don't rush into things. 😊 No I don't shop on Temu. I usually buy locally, on etsy, or Amazon. Thank you for watching! When I first started I bought 2 beginner kits from Etsy. The kit comes with a hoop, needle, threads, instructions, and a piece of fabric that's printed with patterns that you can follow along. I got one with different types of stitches and the other one is a wild flower pattern. The kits were inexpensive and was well put together. I think the kits are a good starting point. I also learn a lot from books and youtube tutorial videos too! 😊
