HOWDY MY FELLA DILLWEEDS!! If you’re new around here stay tuned for a lot of shenanigans as well as reviews, first rides, and cool cops vs bikers vids cause I tend to get in more trouble than I probably should.
I’m not gonna lie here at first I didn’t like the old displays but know that I’ve seen what it looks like in the dark I absolutely love those displays.
I have a 2004 Touareg V10 TDI... 500K miles. F**king LOVE IT! Black/Teak/Loaded. The biggest issue is the electrical, battery drain due to short in the door button. Xenon headlights flash, so I have replaced the plugs. But WOW what a powerhouse. Pulls a 747! No issues.
Top speed on my Grom was 71, stock gearing, stock bore DHM stage 3 kit, aRacer, Amazon iStunt exhaust, Koso filter and intake, ported head and aluminum oil spinner. If anything, it does pull harder, just not expecting to get a higher top speed. Looking at putting in a 181 soon.
Only thing im hearing bad maybe on the 23 and 24 is this return shift thing? That you cant just downshift to 1 or 2 quickly . U gotta engage the gears in order to downshift or upshift? So what if your in 5th and slow down faster and want to be in say 2nd gear . Wouldnt that be more difficult?
I really love how this bike looks. But, as you said, it doesn’t sound that great. I really love how the Ducati Supersport 937 sounds, but it’s a lot of money compared to this. Seems to hit all my boxes, but it’s pricey lol
Ive hit 75mph before with just DNA intake I was suprise it didnt max out the limiter like the grom does at 73mph if I had a exhaust I wonder what it true max mph would be is before ecu limits it but maybe yellow color are just faster lol miss my monkey its gone forks ball bearing blew up and bent my front frame jumping off 5 ft hill hitting a curb and sold it plan to get another one and ride it again
i had the same trouble with my trail it took some time to figure it out how to shift it but now its super easy. but do you know how many miles are now on that bike. and how has it held up. because i'm thinking of doing the same to mine.
Now I don't know about all states. But what's great about Maryland is that they aren't under the delusion that every rider on the road in licensed. And they want to see everyone licensed. And so if you get comfortable with the Navi, which you can basically completely on your own, you can do the 'fast track' option to get a Motorcycle License, where you can take the knowledge test AND skills test same day.
i bought a 2004 shadow 750, my MSF course we were on 250cc bikes, can i just get on and go? seems heavy and im nervous, plus i cant get to a empty lot so ill just have to start riding it down my road.. SHould i go for it?
I got a monkey a few weeks ago and I can't wait to get this! Riding it stock for a little bit except for a fender elim soon. What do you have for a fender elim?
