So why does no video talk about the pressure needed for the hands holding the cards. I can't seem to get a fan even one time that look even somewhat okay after 5 days and I think its all because of the hand holding them
I've been a card worker for many, many tears. Before I had a stroke, I made my living by it. Not only does this excellent video have a couple of moves in it that I didn't know (which is unusual) but the teaching is as good as anything you'll ever see. Outstandingly good stuff.
I don't understand how whatever finger is holding the cards other then your thumb does not hit them as it dribble. For the life of me now matter how I hold my cards I always have some finger edge hitting and messing it up
This was great! Its easy to forget how many performances you've been compiling thoughout the years of product releases. Would love to see more, thanks guys
A variation is to have the selected card controlled second from top, then flip over top card, get break under the selection, pick up face down selection with face up top card and use both to turn over next card (was the third card), do the same with two more cards. You have now shown a pack of four cards the selection is not among them. In fact the selection is the fourth card down in the pack and is face up. Do an Elmsely Count and the selected card with be the bottom card of the packet and face up. After the Slap the selected card will be face up!
I taught mt sisters a variation of this where they divine the card by having their spectators wave their hand over the cards spread out on a table. Theres nothing to think about so the whole trick is presentation. The bigger you play it up the better it goes over and honestly, with all the slights, flourishes, secret methods, gaffs and everything else I've learned, this one little trick still goes over as a miracle to the audience.
I vowed to never do this trick because everyone that I have ever met that's what to jail or prison does this trick I actually called it the Prison card trick
