Thanks for posting this topic. I'm sure Everyone has those fears and anxiety of approaching groups or messing up a trick. Whenever a video goes out, it's the Best reactions and the Best performances. I think it sets the bar unrealistically high for magicians watching. You three discussing how every trick went bad, groups were less than attentive shows the REAL side of performing randomly to people. Just a great First podcast! I got a ton of shit from it!! Cheers guy's!

This is the magic podcast we needed. Actual talk about real-world performing, not exterior aspects like marketing, product promotion, hyper-specific questions like "how to build a birthday party routine"...Well done

I really find the project amazing🙏. Please definitely do more of it. For many, these are exactly the points that initially scare you when you first get into magic. Questions that everyone initially has. How do I approach people? What do I do if something goes wrong? I really like the way you address these topics and I myself have learned a lot. I wish such podcasts had existed two years ago, and it could have saved me a lot of headaches. Thank you and keep it up. ❤

Love the honesty and insights in this podcast

I had to learn and I still have to remind myself that the person I’m performing for has never seen this trick before. So when the “magic” moment happens I should be performing beyond the moves or steps to accentuate what is happening. For example when I do a triumph, that I’ve done a billion times, and I reveal that the mixed cards have all reorganized themselves in the same direction except for their chosen card…. It’s a pretty wild thing to experience for the first time up close and personal but I’ve seen the trick so many times that I feel like I become too mechanical and when my spectator has a really great reaction it sometimes startles me. After the fact I realize I should have been less blasé about the ending and shared the moment with them. Trying to be less about “tricking” and more about “entertaining” and being in it together.
