Rb4 is an exchange sacrifice, not a rook sacrifice. This type of sloppy commentary occurs too frequently in Dr. Mike's videos, which otherwise are reasonably instructive, though Mike wastes too much time on playing out one to three-move variations that are very easy to follow without playing out the moves. Once in a while wouldn't be an issue, but he does this so frequently as to be quite irritating.
Back when I was learning strategy, I would sometimes "throw" the first game by making less than optimal moves just to see what would happen. Usually, I lost, but sometimes neither I nor my opponent foresaw the situations that led to my victory.
You must have good knowledge of chess, I'm sure of it! But for some reason! Your review of this game is waaay off, Tate made many mistakes in this game! And you called them "Brilliant moves" . You make it look like Tate is a tough player! Piers Morgan would lose to my 5 years old son! And my son is rated 800! He just played horribly. Sorry, I do not see any unmatched proserpacsachisity or anny sheer indaficatribshilitbity on part of Tate here. He likes to brag a lot about being a "Chess player", but he neglects to mention that he is below average The most interesting comment for me is when you said h3 "not really a good move", and it's the top recommended engine move
Whatchoo talking about, Willis? Tate wins the game because his opponent makes bad moves, not because of the opening. The opening wasn't going well till Black blundered.
@@DueyS The thing is, the game is awful, and the commentating is out of this world! And the commentating! He calls top engine moves by Morgan "Bad moves" and he calls bad moves by Tate "Good moves" :) So, IT IS about Tate and Morgan for the commentator, it is NOT about the game
