Why doesn't Black play ...Ng4 before White plays Qd2, when there is no Bg5? The retreat to d2 doesn't look very impressive. This type of skipping over seems common with Dr. Mike.
Which game / move sir? The only game I think that’s possible is g1 vs ding Liren, where Magnus went Qd2 before f3, but there …ng4 is met by Bg5! Am I missing something? I mean this is literally a 1 hour 50 minute video on Magnus playing the English attack haha, let me know what I missed!
