I have my 2020 at the shop… been there for over a month… they’ve tried everything.. they say… talking about a new transmission…. What the heck..? My bill is over a thousand bucks, so far… they say they’ve never seen anything like it.. what am I to do ? Wouldn’t go into reverse.. then was coming out of forward gears ..?
I'm pretty sure I found a plug in the firewall that I was able to remove to run them trough. Most of the time you can sneak wires through where something is already going through the firewall if you are not finding a free hole.
Thank you so much, bro seriously I just had my heater hose blow on me. I’m wondering if it was already cracked and leaking because I’ve been having problems with my cluster for a while but when my hose broke, I had a Jimmy rig it real quick and started driving and none of my gauges work now and I am completely flabbergasted because I had no idea about that probably getting wet off this whole time I have intermittent cluster issues. Thank you good video
Good intel. My ABS was intermittent for weeks then solid ON. Brakes were squishy at the very end of braking. Figured it was air in lines or speed sensors. Ground was really bad. Cleaned up and no more ABS light, brakes no more squishy. Thanks!
I am having the same issue with my cluster. All I did was disconnect my battery for a few hours and when I tried to connect it back the needles did not work, nor did the odometer. I have a 2004 GMC Yukon SLT though. I hope this will solve my issue.
Bout 7yrs too late but Man U were my saving grace. I had a field rat make a nest out of my firewall of my 01 2500hd. Didn’t realize they chewed the wiring up and that was the exact issue. Rewired a few inches and bolted it back. And wallah gauges were back. Thanks man much appreciated!
I agree with everyone about the great job and only game in town for this repair. Thanks so much. However, i cant find the hose assembly anywhere on rock auto. Any suggestions? I really lkee the one you found.
Thanks for the info. Again, great video. One more question if that's ok. Is there a 1/4 or so turrn to remove the valve? It looks like you may have turned it some.
@@jaysmith5260 Yes, it was a little push, and 1/4 turn like a twist lock type deal if I remember correctly. You can examine the new valve to get an idea of the amount of turn, but it is pretty easy to do by feel as well. It's been a while since I did this. It could have been 180 degree turn.
WoW 😲!! I can't believe you were able to melt plastic like that to some what hold a screw driver!!! Genius!!! Some body call Nikola Tesla Albert Einstein because we got a new genius on a Hands folks!! Future Nobel prize winner!!! 😅 Sorry about the sarcasm I did learn ways to work with pvc pipe thanks
Here is a longer video with the intake off so you can actually see the bolt I'm talking about. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7AfAXoeicsw.html
Folks reading this..while the sensor is out...pump 5 shots of grease in the sensor hole, rotate bearing, repeat that 5 times..you bearings will last alot longer! Your welcome!
I was having trouble with my cluster, gas, tem, odometer wasn't working and battery light was on permanently,I figured the solution for my issue,it was the cruise control fuse inside the cab driver side. I hope this help some one,I did spend lot's hours trying to figure out the problem.
I'd like to know where you bought your PCV valve at. I could only find one with two outlets or one that goes straight up. Edit: I also agree with you about that adhesive backing they put on that gasket; it has always leaked on me.
These companies could already deliver this as an accessory, for them low cost! I have a Makita 1900B here and I don't know how to make a dust collector!
Nice man, this was my issue exactly. I just put some JB weld on and we will see in a little. Makes sense why it worked better on speed 1 lol because the air wasn’t slapping the door closed 🤣
man thank you so much this helped so much i had 0 gauges working before leaving to school in the morning got home looked up my problem n clicked on your video , everything works now!
Flex-Seal 1 gallon can . Trust me . Best bed protection, spread with 6 inch also homemade 1 1/4 wide knife for in-between the ridges . Takes about 2 hours and you will be amazed
On my Weed Eater FB25 blower without spark, it turned out to be the coil gap was too wide. After changing it to the thickness of two playing cards. it now has spark, and cranks much easier.
Thanks! After I removed and cleaned the ground wires and where it contacts the body, the light went out and it hasn’t been back on. Sometimes the simple fixes work.
