Hey! Welcome to my channel, my name is Maria I love being a mom, house wife and to work on crafts. Mostly crocheting and embroidery. I provide private lessons at patreon.com/mariaheartsyarn
bless your soul for the hair tutorial 🫶🏼 Made the MOST BEAUTIFUL doll with it !!! was suspicious about cooking yarn in the oven at first but it exceeded all expectations 🤍🤍
Saw these dolls on utube. The top of hair will have flowers and the doll a dress. You pull the dress up over the doll and it then turns into a bouquet of flowers..be nice if u did one of those. The video I found was in spanish
If it's from rain, let air dry and they will loosen but still be curls. If you dunk it in water and air dry it's likely to go straight. However it all depends on the yarn you used I've had cotton yarn hold the curls much longer even dunking the yarn into water.
I've never crocheted anything, can't even read a pattern. Besides looking up how to do a SDHC, this video taught me everything I needed to know to make the sweater. My sweater looks incredible and you'd never know I didn't know what I was doing 48 minutes ago!
well, you can adjust the playback speed from the upper right side of the video screen. And I marked the stopping point in the video so I could come back to the point after I searched on your tube for the videos of the crochet terms. My little problem was there was no background music or talking, so I didn’t know where we were in the sweater to replay back to when I made a mistake. And edit out the parts that are redundant saying that you’ll edit ahead and meet us after our 17 rows, or something like that. Over all though, thank you for your time for showing us this!
I have a question I’m stuck after the arm hole did three rows of hdc than when I did the decrease is where I’m stuck you do only one row or more than one before you start the colar
Honestly I followed all of the steps exactly, used the right yarn and hook, and its not even close to a large dog sweater. I was making this for my large french bull dog, who is chunky but by no means a large dog, and it doesnt come close to fitting him. The row counts for the body are way off, its barely halfway down my dog’s back. I even added a stitch for each row of the tube portion of the body and it’s too tight. The arm holes are too close together and aren’t big enough. Again, my dog is by no measure “large”. Very disappointing and a massive waste of my time.
This is so true I followed the steps and ended up giving the sweater to a smaller dog, I made another one for my own dog (my dog isn’t even a large dog) and I found it helps to use a measuring tape to get the exact size and I increased the length of the sweater so it fits better
Just finished making this, thank you for the guide. I am a beginner and just started about a week ago, practicing a little everyday. Once I got comfortable with single, half double, double, and triple crochet, I felt comfortable approaching this. The first puff stitches were a challenge but it clicked after struggling through the first five or so. Slow going for me all the way, but overall it wasn't too hard and it took about 6 to 8 hours. The end product was nice and fit my little lady Lhasa Apso. For my boy it would definitely need more than 61 chains, probably will try 81. If I may offer some advice to help others, time stamps on the video would be a nice convenience. Good luck!
Im just a little confused. When. On rows 13-22, when did you switch back to maroon? You were working in gray then when you got to the end of row 22, you were using maroon.
Love this sweater pattern!! It's an xmas gift for my brothers chihuaha. Knuckles. The front post idea, continuous was nice way to make ribbing. Many patterns start with the neck. I like this way. Thanks again..
