I remember this interview way back when it originally aired in 1988. Jamie Lee Curtis is just embarrassing to watch, trying to be funny. Especially after the 12:20 mark when she's pretending to be bored by Cleese, leaning on him, pretending to be going to sleep. Cringe. Meanwhile, Cleese and Palin are bouncing jokes off of everyone and each other and being really witty and truly funny. Its as if they stepped foot off the Monty Python set only 10 minutes earlier as opposed to 15 years earlier.

I just sat through all four parts. The guest actors were great, the host was appallingly bad and the audience came across as just really dumb.

Benny Hill considered funnier than Monty Python by two TV stations-- WOR and WLVI.

Mr Kline stole the show in this movie. He rightfully deserved the best supporting actor award.
