Jush Hart have to stop missing layups when he is the fast breaks.. When it is not there slow it down and get in the halfcourt sets. Do that...and there is no game 7.
100% coaching mistake. FOUL Maxey before he shoots game over on first 3 pointer which turned into a 4 pointer. Never give him opportunity to make a 3......Are the Knicks brain dead. You guys deserve to blow this series.
Precious should've played which would have allowed Hart or OG to rest a bit. Maybe Hart makes both free throws if rested. Tibbs should have appreciated his effort in game 4. Jalen gotta share the ball and DD has to step on offense in game 6.
Thibs stopped coaching towards the end of the game. He was running the Brunson offense and forgetting about game management. Make the clock your friend and move the ball. How do you only play 7 guys after Precious did so well game 4. Fatigue was a factor.
Thibs is stubborn as hell, rarely makes any in-game adjustments. Against even teams it'll be more and more of an obvious point of weakness. He could've won the game in regulation with better lineups, fouls and timeouts at his disposal, but instead he just passively watched a 6 point lead slip away in less than 20 seconds.
Mitch needs to be down low he’s not the best perimeter defender let alone having a mismatch on Maxey. He tends to foul a lot on guys he can’t fully defend. He’s a big body that can make guys second guess driving to the hoop so if he is stuck on a wing send someone to switch or double I’d much rather him foul someone driving the lane then having another 4 point play. I feel that if someone came to at least double and Mitch rotated off that foul would have never happened.
Mitch shouldn't have have been in the game, period. Let OG or Precious take Embiid, play small to guard the rest of the guys at the perimeter. This was all on Thibs, at that stage in the game when you're up 6, they don't have time to come back with just 2 pointers. The free throws will offset their scoring and the travel distance will run out the clock.
@@cordlc honestly I agree he’s too unpredictable when it comes to foul discipline and being this is his 5th or so season in the NBA that he should be over the “hacking and whacking” stage since they call it a lot closer in the NBA vs college ball. There’s no real excuse for it guys gotta learn to not leave his feet and reach in he’s a 7fter he shouldn’t have to do any of that just make guys shoot over you if it goes in, it goes in but at least make it harder for them you know.
@@n3crowarlvck I'm pretty sure Mitch is going to be what you see him as, he's not really a bright guy and mostly runs on his instincts. Depending on the player these things are not easy, sometimes impossible to train out. I think it's fine for most of the game, but when things tighten up you're not going to want to see him on the floor
Were you watching the game bro? When Maxi made that three from damn near half court his feet was definitely set! It was a jumpshot. It wasn’t no heave.
The Knicks were losing this game regardless of both teams play. The basketball Gods are saying that there is no way an upstart Knicks team wins in less than 7 games against an established team, and it makes sense...the Knicks could have been up 50 with 6 seconds on the clock and still lost...I had the Knicks in 5, but, now I got them in 7 winning in OT on their home floor...If it goes 7, this will be one of the greatest playoff series ever played...the only team since the Lakers and Celtics of the 80's to reach this type of intensity was Lebron beating Golden State....this playoff series is rivaling that type of intensity!
I have been a Knick fan since the late 80s, I have experienced a plethora of heartbreaking defeats by this franchise; we all remember the infamous Reggie Miller play, and the infamous Pj Brown/Charlie Ward brawl that suspended a number of Knicks which blew their series lead. I've seen it all, and I can tell you this franchise has a stigma of awful moments that carries negative momentum for generations. Last night was another visit by this bad voodoo, and although I was not one of those fans doing jumping jacks with a 3-1 lead, because I knew we could easily be down 3-1, this was an absolute debacle. If the Knicks do not close it out in game 6, the series will be won by Philly. And the typical Knick response will be to trade half their assets for a used up/older Lebron, or trade for KD.
Wally knicks need to live with Maxey's tieing three pointer.? Really? How bout Robinson should have been chedt to chest with maxey instead of dropping into paint. A two pointer did NOT MATTER WALLY
Sixers fans down 1-3 online saying we’re gonna win this series. Knicks fans up 3-2 with the grittiest team in the league saying the series is over and Knicks are losing….. grow a pair. This team is everything you’re not- take your talents to south beach with that fandom
Let's be real guys. We all knew Mitch was gonna f up and do a stupid 3 point foul at some point. Dude always fouls at the 3 and still let's the shot go off. Like wtf
