Plumbing service contractor. I started my career in the plumbing industry in 1988 after receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. NAVY as a boiler technician. Within a week of discharge,i started working as a plumbers helper in Sarasota FL, I advanced rapidly in my trade,got my journeyman license after one year because they applied my time as a BT in the navy towards my apprenticeship. At 7 yrs.experience ,I sat for the state Masters exam and passed. I continued to work in new construction as a master plumber for 2 years for another plumbing company. In 1997 I decided to open John Phillips Plumbing service,doing all new construction. I did very well until being diagnosed with AML LEUKEMIA in 2015,I thought my life was over. But,by the grace of God and a wonderful team of doctors at Moffitt cancer Center, I am a cancer survivor after having a bone marrow transplant. I post daily, my service jobs on residential single family houses. I enjoy having subscribers ride along !

The problem our country has faced for generations is the ideal of a presidency to be a pure example of leadership under which our country is heading. People tend to blanket support a candidate for the presidency position based on political beliefs and ideals of the party they're associated with. What we as "the people" tend to fall short of is holding the actual litigators responsible. Holding the mayors, governors, representatives, senators, etcetera responsible. There's hardly any discussion that we hear on social media or major news networks in our daily lives that discusses what bills are being presented on the floors, passing the house and on the way to the senate, or even being drafted & discussed, urging citizens to speak their opinions on it directly with those "representatives" that's supposedly representing the towns, cities, counties, and states. We're all too focused on who is going to be president, and set these expectations that something is going to "change" for the greater good. Republican, Democrat, whichever political party it might be, it rarely makes any difference in our personal lives as they're no longer truly calling the shots, it's the parties they're with and how much "support" they've received through donations, kickers, dinner party tickets, etcetera. The office of the presidency in the United States has become the laughing stock of our country. I still want to respect it as an American, but I'll digress. Trump, Biden, whomever it might be, definitely deserves the right of being able to campaign freely and share their ideals with the country, 1st amendment is pretty cool. Regardless of the conspiracies, one thing about our country that's pretty cool is we all generally come together in times like this, shootings, natural disasters, etc. So, there's some hope out there still.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But the media has helped keep things right by fact checking before reporting. Unlike Fox News who has been sued for reporting falsehoods and get hefty finds, plus firing their own reporters for false reporting.
