Show how to release the pins when the release arm won't pull. That's important when teaching this procedure. Engaging the power divider is not necessary on dry pavement and is a bad idea for rookies. If they forget to disengage it will be expensive down the road. 😮
So i have been doing it kinda right just wasnt pulled up enough. They trained us on pull up to the spot before and than 12 and 9 but they had alot more space between in training. Otr this will be better and i'm about to try it out. Been driving for 3 months team driving and now i'm getting it. I have the angles just the setup was never right but these above angles help see my problem
I see that this video is three years old. Is there a new update to this policy? Can solo drivers have a pet with them now in 2024 ? I gotta be honest this is a dealbreaker for me. I have an eight-year-old 9 pound cat that I would want to bring with me. There are many other carriers who allow both team and solo two animals max weight 60 pounds.
This is a nice video. I enjoyed watching her. She looks like a very sweet lady. I love seeing fellow women in trucking. In about 2 1/2 weeks I start CDL school at a local community college. I am heavily looking into Schneider, it’s on my list of possible employers once I complete my CDL and obtain my license. 🎉 I love how safety conscious the company is and they seem to have a great reputation for outstanding training and instilling the importance of safety in every aspect of your job role.
Stopped right about 5sec in. IT'S a TRUCKING COMPANY so.... it's not truth, it's propaganda. "Come drive for us, it'll be fine! You'll only miss all the best years, every event, every milestone. Graduation? Pssshhhht! No biggie! Come make US money!!!"
These are excellent videos!! I will be starting community college for my CDL in a few weeks and I want to be a skilled wise driver who is safe. I’m strongly considering Schneider as my first trucking job because they have a great reputation for safety and they are also a woman friendly company. I also heard that they’re training is some of the best out there.
Hola buenas tardes me interesa el trabajo, si tienen disponible corridas dedicadas o regionales , yo vivo en Laredo tx, 78046 y cumplo con todos los requisitos
Only thing, is that how much of that weekly 7k do you get to keep, when they may charge you thousands each week for payments! That's the real catch....
Whether or not you want to be a truck driver is a personal decision. No one else can tell you that you should or shouldn’t. That’s something you have to figure out for yourself. As with any decision, it’s important to understand your motivation behind it. I don’t think that you should want to be a truck driver just for the money because it’s a very a serious job that requires a lot of responsibility, common sense and wisdom, as well as a safe driving mindset. It’s also not an easy job and depending on what you’re interested in doing, especially an OTR driver, it’s a major lifestyle change.
