I was a dedicated driver for Schneider during Covid, and honestly the pay scale was the worst part. The two accounts were fine (the second was WAYYY better than the first) and the folks I dealt with at Schneider could not have been nicer. The tractors weren’t that good (older fleet Cascadias) but the trailers were all top notch - much better than the fleet orange trailers. Honestly I’d probably still be driving that last dedicated account if 1.) the pay was much better; and 2.) if my pre-Covid career hadn’t started back up in earnest.
A Schneider driver recruiter named Cody consistently lied to me stretching me out until my financial position was so thin it was difficult to logistically consider other companies
I used to drive for stevens transport. They made promises and never followed through. I sat so much waiting on loads and getting my pay deducted for made up reasons. After 9 months of driving for them. I only made $25,000. Driving dedicated, how much would I be making?
On the topic of pay, you know it's bad when a number isn't given, and they try to make it sound nice with all the other incentives to boost your pay, but they won't give a number on that either. It takes a comment section to give you more info on pay than this whole video.
Dont go to NDF account. They pay $20 hour and expect you to strap flatbed loads, operate moffett and deal with outside clients. You can make that money operating forklifts and be home every night
can someone have their spouse and 1 pet tag along for the ride or is there a restriction? also for someone who's more of a night owl with some medical issues how would that work for the hiring process?
Is the amount of money that you pay kryptonite? How is it that you have a whole video? But you never discuss the actual amount of money that you pay. It sounds like a scam. All of this production, and you're afraid to actually say how much you pay in dollars and cents. What else is the point?
