You absolutely nailed it with the comment of people being from Los Angeles being down to earth. People forget how desperately they wanted to move to Los Angeles and then make it their entire personalities to "hate" on Los Angeles. However, there's a big difference between native Angelinos and transplants. I would have to say the folks giving LA a bad name are the people that move here in an attempt to assume an LA lifestyle/identitiy or larp as a native influencer. Like, please... *eyeroll
Just because you don’t like her outfit, doesn’t mean it’s trash. Sometimes people mistake speaking their mind for speaking the truth. Speaking your mind doesn’t always equate to being kind, her truth is she’s wearing the outfit perhaps because she loves it, so why your opinion matters. Same as going to a restaurant, waiters have to “act” nice even if you’re being a pain, to ensure you don’t leave them nasty reviews and potentially getting tipped. I think being kind and nice can go hand in hand. Let’s not demonize the word nice, it’s not kind.
