Guys have a short remember of what Dwight did he took his team to the finals and lost to one of the greatest players of all time. Then he end up coming back and winning a championship with the lakers, when I see Deontay Jordan sitting on the bench in Denver and white can’t even make a 15 man roster I get disappointed in the league sometimes.
At first I thought Dwight was on bs but now seeing Gil’s podcast Gil stared how Stan would demoralize and verbally abuse anybody for the slightest thing you could have 40 points and if you have one turnover Stan would down talk you to the other players while you’re on the court I think Dwight thought the best option was to talk to the higher ups now don’t get it twisted Dwight a wild boy and I definitely low key disappointed in what he doing and honestly he’s a great player but not one of my favorites but once I saw Gil’s podcast I remembered this how Stan tried to make it seem like Dwight was the bad guy 🤦🏽♂️
What a train wreck for Orlando. They elect to fire SVG if Howard agrees to not opt out of his contract, which he does, but then demands to be traded prior to the next season anyways. I’d be so pissed if I made a move like this to keep the franchise player only for him to leave anyways and end up just being totally fucked in all of it. Orlando fans have to hate Howard’s guts for this
Reporter: You want your coach fired. Dwight: Who said that? Reporter: Stan just said it. Dwight: No, he didn't. All the reporters back the reporter. Dwight: I didn't say anything. 😂😂😂. Classic. Lol
This always happens when a genuinely good person attempts a punk move - it backfires in his face, looks unnatural as hell and just makes him come off as 100x worse. A player with a mean streak such as Mj, Shaq, Pippen, Kobe, KD, can pull this off with ease because it is their second nature. But when Dwight does it it comes off clumsy and he looks like a dufus, and will get criticized 10x more for being a good guy trying to get tougher and meaner, probably forced to it by his posse'
Bro really said "I don't care about my job I care about if a NBA team can guard Carmelo" that's petty, he knows he's getting fired and just wanted to talk shit about their defense lmao
That’s not what he said… he said, “If I get fired, I get fired… I’m not too worried about it. What I am worried about is if I do still have a job come 7, then it’s doing the job I’m being paid to do. (AKA winning basketball games AKA stopping Carmelo Anthony tonight.)”
And here we are years later, and Dwight Howard still doesn’t admit when he did even on these podcast that he’s been going on lately. The guy literally has no class.
what makes me laugh the most is that Dwight obviously was well aware of the situation and what the conversation between stan and media was but walked over acting like they were all cool and he was calm and collected. but he didn’t have any idea that Stan started off saying he heard dwight wanted him fired so when he got asked Dwight gets all defensive and starts getting frustrated cause he 1. knew it was true and 2. his plan to walk up and act calm cool and collected backfired in his face
