@@gregdavis8645 well, she fooled me. Also, the guitar “solo” which is on the Hell Comes To Your House comp isn’t heard in this clip or as you say, recorded track. 😊
Would it be accurate or fair to say they were edged out of the national spotlight by Lone Justice? LJ had some songs that were more commercially sellable.
Wow. Ok, this goes back around over 30 years. Greg (the badass guitarist in this vid) used to rent us rehearsal space in west LA. In fact, I recall that I once used his Marshall in rehearsal - and that was really the first time that I learned the magic of a good Marshall. He also showed me his very special Telecaster - the one in this vid. I recall the blade pickup in the bridge, and the other mods that you can see here. Greg was always really nice to us. A couple guys in the band I played with at that time went to see Blood on the Saddle play, and I recall that they were absolutely raving about what a great guitar player he was! And! - they said he would rip this leads with a huge smile on his face! Very very cool. Greg - if you read this - thanks for letting me use your Marshall that one time in rehearsal. Changed my life. I hope all is absolutely excellent with you. Thank you. Marc
I don’t know how much Annette got to sing in the Bangles, but she played a mean bass in all those early recordings. I’d rather listen to _anything_ the Bangles recorded before A Different Light than what came after.
When she left, all the songs on "All over the place" had been written and were being performed. That's why that album sounds much more like the EP, than A Different light.
She can sing! But what is this garbage?? Fun fact: Flannel Guy is James Carrey and Tim (Tim & Eric)’s love child. Love how the crap VCR speeds this up to Bone Thugs territory. Whoops.
It's funny to hear Annette mention The Blasters. They were a fixture on USA Night Flight around 1983. I used to love watching that show on Friday nights starting at 11 PM.
@@majeliomontenegro1 Thank you Annette and I met at a Blasters gig at the Whiskey a Go-Go in the Summer of ‘81 We both loved their music and later played on bills with them several times
