Wow. Ok, this goes back around over 30 years. Greg (the badass guitarist in this vid) used to rent us rehearsal space in west LA. In fact, I recall that I once used his Marshall in rehearsal - and that was really the first time that I learned the magic of a good Marshall. He also showed me his very special Telecaster - the one in this vid. I recall the blade pickup in the bridge, and the other mods that you can see here. Greg was always really nice to us. A couple guys in the band I played with at that time went to see Blood on the Saddle play, and I recall that they were absolutely raving about what a great guitar player he was! And! - they said he would rip this leads with a huge smile on his face! Very very cool. Greg - if you read this - thanks for letting me use your Marshall that one time in rehearsal. Changed my life. It's a shame her talents weren't fully utilized when she was originally with The Bangles, what a hidden talent, she sings, she writes songs, she plays various instruments, I love the country western vibe that "Blood On The Side ".🎼🎸
I'm just glad she's back with The Bangles, maybe she can restore some of the edgy garage retro '60s rock that was lost when The Bangles "walked like Egyptians " on "Manic Monday" "Down the street ".

Annette is rather stunning, she looks a bit like 80's Madonna and a bit like Belinda Carlisle, dances all funky like Carlisle, and has a strong voice that is considerably higher than any of the other Bangles. If she'd stayed in the band and contributed this much fire, I wonder if the fanboys would fixate on her too rather than just "hoffs this and hoffs that" all the time. Of course I do prefer Michael Steele in the Bangles, she fits better.
Marysia Kosowski exactly! I think if she had originally stayed, Annette would have been the favorite instead of Susanna. Annette has a much better voice than Susanna & the others.
Would it be accurate or fair to say they were edged out of the national spotlight by Lone Justice? LJ had some songs that were more commercially sellable.
