Of course. Nothing in the Bible is original. This is why the religious right doesn’t want the history of comparative religions to be learned in schools. Greek mythology predates Christianity by hundreds of years. They can’t make up any apologetics for why the stories are so strikingly similar, so they banned it from being taught in schools. At my school, we learned about Greek Theology very briefly. But they conveniently left out the creation story, flood story and pretty much any story that could mirror the biblical stories in any way.
