It's important to remember the time skip and how the world's attitude towards Kira changed to put everything that happens later into context, Light's ego has always been his weakness and now he's super confident...
It's super interesting that Bisky taught Killua and Gon to use Gyo whenever they find something suspicious but Hisoka was still able to casually trick them. I guess Killua didn't connect the dots from the Kastro fight and deduce Texture Surprise.
My man Goreinu ! he's so smart but so underrated, there's so many small details showing how skilled he is...and he's a good guy ^^ his reaction to Hisoka 'reacting' in front of 3 children (he doesn't know how old Bisky is) is proof of it but so funny to witness too 😂😂
By the way it was shown in the manga that hisoka was able to tell what type of nen affinity bisky was just by looking/sensing her and concluded she was a transmuter just based off the vibes. hisoka actually notives something off he had a feeling they figured out he was lyinng so he decided to add more to his lies to secure it
I knew this reaction bouta be crazy when is saw it was ep 68 (i memorize most of the good ep number) tbh this episode wouldve been funnier if the anime didnt cut out those extra little scenes in the manga
Since I haven't seen anyone else explain it for you guys: Misa apparently really likes what is known as "Lolita fashion". It's pretty popular in Japan, and one of its "categories" can be described as gothic, like you guys said! :)
i would like to suggest you seeing scene from Death note relight, it's L's funeral (what happened after L's death), its on youtube as i know and also after a few episodes u can also search for L's Speech, which i think are very impressive moments, and very deep, especially l's speech
Trivia: in the 2003 series, the date in the watch is 3 oct 10 instead of 3 oct 11. In that version, the boys burned down their home (as a symbol of their resolution to not turn back) BEFORE Ed became a State Alchemist (even more bold, cool, epic, reckless, stupid, absurd, place your favorite adjective).
The former military on the right is named Yoki, and his backstory was briefly mentioned once, I think by one of Mustang's staff back in episode 4. You might want to check that, because you will soon meet him and his backstory will not be shown up until WAY later in the series. Yoki was the protagonist (well, antagonist) of one of the early chapters on the manga, with his story adapted, with some minor changes, in the 2003 anime. Brotherhood will only cover his backstory, apart from the little explanation in ep 4 which most people forget about, with a brief flashback in episode 38: a first part looking like an old black and white movie (the part from the manga), then a second part with a more standard look (set between the manga chapter and his appearance in the series). You will meet the guy in the middle soon too. There's no reason to tell you more about him for now, you'll see soon.
Why so many amputees, you ask? So many alchemists perform forbidden human transmutations and lose their limbs! No, I'm just kidding. As it will be mentioned in episode 15 iirc (I hope it's not a spoiler, as you may have already noticed the State is run by the military. You can still stop reading if you prefer), Amestris has been involved in many conflicts (Ishval is the most relevant to the story, but it's not the only one). So I guess many amputees could be war veterans. Also, you see how fanatic automail enthusiasts can get... it's totally possible some people voluntarily change sane limbs for enhanced prosthetics. Plus of course accidents happen, think about work safety standards in 1910s compared to nowadays. And it looks like Rush Valley is a sort of exception, being specialized in Automails... Normal cities probably do not have so many automail shops and do not attract so many amputees.
I think most older shonen are full of fillers (DBZ, Naruto, Bleach). Agree they dragged the money making aspect on a bit but I think it was ment to show that even if they are strong or show wits, Gon and Killua are still dumb kids that can be inexperienced or impulsive when it comes to money, and maybe also to keep the timeline in check with what Kurapika was doing.
I don´t know if you realized it since you aknowledged Naruto is voice by a female VA and you said you like Gon´s VA. They are the same person. Also she voices Akamaru in Naruto funny enough :D
It is always silly to see and hear about how RU-vid handles stuff. I know some of it, like if you mention some key words in the opening XYZ seconds of a video, etc. It is just ridiculous to me that you can speak about "tearing his heart out" and all sorts of other things but if you mention death or killing you get demonetized. This is what happens when they want to cut costs as much as possible and handle most things (including some direct decisions) via bots instead of human review.
so so sad :(. Im glad Light acc smiled at L when he died cuz then at least L knew that he was right about Light being Kira the whole time. he was validated right before he died.
This episode broke my heart when I saw it the first time. It was the point when I HAD to hate Light. I don't comprehend people defending Light even after this point.
I believe the Biblical reference was actually Jesus washing Judas' feet, knowing that Judas would go on to betray him later, the same way L seemed to know what was going to happen to him.
Hey guys! I love your reactions for all your shows so I hope this doesn't come across as too mean or negative and luckily for me I've already seen FMA:B but it might be a good idea in the future to warn for spoilers. Small stuff isn't such a big deal right but, the death in question mentioned is quite the shocker. Again I love your reactions and you guys do a great job so I hope this comment isn't seen as me harping too much on it. FMA:B is a fantastic show and the thought of someone's experience being impacted makes me sad :( anyways, keep being awesome guys!
You're not being negative at all. We kind of realized that, but it was after we already published the video lol. We made a few mistakes in that video in general, since we were so shocked with what was happening. It won't happen again lol. Thanks for watching!
You’re somewhat wrong about Chrollo’s ability. He can steal as many abilities as his book can hold, but he’s limited to only USING one at a time. He can’t mix and match stolen abilities. The original owner also can’t use the ability as long as the ability is in his book, though if the original owner dies, it disappears from the book as well. Also, I loved Killua passing the Hunter exam so easily. It was hilarious, definitely a highlight of this arc (even if it was short)!
Episodes 4 and 10 are probably the most emotionally shocking and draining of the series. There will still be some dark episodes here and there, but there will be also more lighthearted or adventure/battle focused ones. This is an emotional rollercoaster, but the worse is mostly passed. Probably. And you still have to meet some really cool characters!
How did they figure out Hughes was investigating, you ask? The bad guys have some connections within the military (lab 5 used to be military, isn't it?). And one of them is a shapeshifter. You cannot trust anyone.
I used to cry every time I watch this episode. Now it’s only sometimes. The times when I don’t cry my body gets all tensed up and I need to take a few minutes to breath and relax.😢
I am missing Deathnote becuase I don't want to watch shinigami, murder and death-related stuff for while I am sorry guys. once I get over some stupid stuff I will watch it
Ed got shit tons of knowledge hammered into his brain when he went past through the Gate, yes. But Al and him were little geniuses (Ed is smarted than Al though) since the beginning. Human Transmutation theory is incredibly difficult. They had to be able to calculate chemical components of human body so they could "make" their mother's body using the Human Transmutation
The rest of the show is even better, I would like to suggest you anime thats called Code Geass, this is very similar to Death note , if not better. after u finish it u may consider my offer. I really like your videos.
Oh man, been waiting for this episode, truly one of the most legendary moments in all of anime excited for you guys to experience the rest of this masterpiece :)
