Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 3 Reaction 

Trivia: the Leore stuff is where the manga and 2003 started (apart from from showing something from the night of the human transmutation at the very beginning). The reveal of Ed's automail limbs to Cornello and Rose was also their reveal to the audience, that's why it's so dramatic despite we already knowing about automails in this version. I have no "source" for this info, but I heard somewhere on youtube that this should have been the first episode also for fmab, and they decided to move it from 1st to 3rd when it was basically already ready; this would also explain why it's the only episode with those "split screen" shot compositions, like they initially meant to use them in the whole series, but after putting together this episode they changed their mind, and so after moving it, episode 3 remained the only one with them. Take this with a grain of salt.

This guy is me introducing people to anime. Self conscious about them understanding everything and maybe over-explaining a smidge. But its endearing because we have all been there. Big subscribe from me

Describing such stones as "fake" is a bit misleading, I think the author made Ed consider it "fake" as a means to have him lose interest and do not have him investigate more about how Cornello got it. In-universe, Ed is still about 15, quite impulsive despite all the stuff he already experienced in his life, so a such overlook by him may somehow be plausible. However, in reality that kind of stone acts like a battery providing extra energy/material for the transmutations, and it can run out.

Both sub and dub are very good. From the point of view of someone watching your vids, maybe dub might be a bit easier to follow... Or maybe you might make the part of the screen with the subtitles less transparent...
