ezone is a very forgiving racquet. I remember getting excited about getting a PS97 v13 becaause i played with the PS 6.0 bafck in the days. when I felt how light it was I thought I would have an advantage. man was I completely wrong. That Ps will truly show how good of a tennis player you are. I was framing 80% of my shots. I had to lead up my PS head heavy. I eventually boughht an RF . I finally got used to the RF and now thinking abouty switching to the new black ezone 98 or v core. From what i am hearing, I might not like the v core since I have an eastern forehead.
I've watched many reviews of this racket as I'm about to buy it, and they've all been good, but this was the best. I've been play testing a demo and can relate to all that was said here. Really appreciate how you present your reviews. Nice work.
Another great review , thank you. I currently play with a vcore pro and I am after more power. Would you recommend me to move to the Ezone tour? Will it give me that power? Did you find it difficult to handle the ezone your after long games due to its swing weight?
Nice video. I bought two secondhand gravity pro from different seller, surprisingly them have same weight and balance. Because I don't have machine to measure swing weight. When rackets in stock, do you think they have same swing weight too?
Great Vid. I used a VCore Pro 97, switched to a Vcore 100. Good stick but being Single Handed there is drag and even the ball goes roughly where you want I did not get the feel of VCore Pro 97. So now looking at Blade 98 16 x 19 and Percept 97. Not tried any of these. Do you know how the Blade is for Single Hander? Or even a Blade 100? I am an all court player.
I’m an advanced level player with and OHBH. I’m currently playing with a pure strike 18x20 3 gen. I want to switch to a more maneuverable racquet. Which one would you recommend, this Blade 98 or the Percept 97D. I play more with top spin but also use flat stroke in my backhand. Great video 🙌🏻
So i have these stocks and asded 8 (4 on face) inches of lead tape at 9 and 3. Should i add more via leather grip? I tested the percep 97d and didnt realize rhst stepping back ontk vcore, i ended up feeling like my racquet was not as stable. I'm looking for ways to make it more stable bht am unsure. 😊
Awesome review. How’s the comfort? Not a big fan of the EZT comfort - I think bc of the weight distribution. Is this racket more comfortable than the EZT?
Hi! I just got my new Head Gravity Pro Auxetic What is your recommendation for best steing setup? I like : good feel, good bite on ball, good durability Thanks
@@simmstennis my experience: Don't string with more than 1.25mm gauge Don't string with heavy string (ex lynx tour) it will boost massive swingweight So far i enjoyed my setup wih Grapplesnake Tour Sniper 48lbs. Firm string, excellent tension maintenance, good bite (not massive), good spin, excellent control, power average (can be added with lower tension) Next i will lower the tension around 46lbs
Was just wondering you touched upon the positives and who the racquet was for but didnt indicate who it's not for? Was just curious since you said it wasnt for your game :) Also what sreing setup did you end up stringing with? And lastly, love your intros with the specs; thats nice to see. As a newbie to equipment, if you don't mind that is, whats the model of your SW machine??
I actually played quite well with this racket but it has just a tad more power than I like. I had the racket strung with Head Hawk Power. In terms of the swingweight machine, this is the only model Dunlop makes. Historically there haven’t been many options for swingweight machines but they are getting more popular now. The most cost effective one is the Briffidi SW1 which hooks up to your phone.
The plastic wrapper on the handle surprisingly weighs 2g. So if you left that on while measuring that’s why your rackets are roughly 2g over spec on average. Great review 🤘
