Great Vid buddy. Fascinated about the quality control of Babolat at least with your racket :) Seems like a very nice frame for attacking play aggressive. I can understand why players like Alcaraz and Rune like this racket.
Nice video! More power than the Blade, but is it more powerful than a Speed MP? How would you compare it to a Pro Staff 97 v10 on the flex and sensations at contact?
Speed MP would provide you a little more power and forgiveness. I haven’t played with that Pro Staff for 8 or 9 years so that’s hard to recall and give an accurate comparison.
nice review man, I feel like we play very similar (both level and style). Where are you from? I currently play with the vcore pro 100 (Which I like). But intrigued to try the aero 98 and vcore 98.
Thank you! I’ve tried the Vcore pro 97 (310) and Vcore pro 97 HD but never the 100. I’m from So Cal and currently live in San Diego. Let me know if you’re ever around and want to hit.
@@simmstennis I am from Brazil but live in Florida. Never been to Cali but want to visit soon, so who knows! Would be interested in listening to your comparison between Vcore 98/Aero98/Extreme Tour. I believe these are direct competitors. Good luck going forward!
I have a love/hate relationship with 100sq inch spin rackets. I can play some great tennis with them but I stand so far back and have to make such a steep swing to bring the ball down. I’m an assistant coach at a college and have to hit with the team at practice multiple days a week when numbers are odd, etc. At 36 I don’t love the feeling or the amount of court I have to cover when I sit back there and grind against 11-12 UTRs. For that reason I’m currently going to commit to a racket which allows me to take the ball early and redirect pace without fear of missing long. Long story short, I may love the Vcore 100 but I won’t love the type of tennis it encourages me to play.
@@simmstennis thanks makes sense so you want a more flatter shot and racquet which allows that to finish the rally earlier? . In regard to the 95 98 and aero 98 what’s the order of preference ?
Currently the Vcore 98, then Aero 98 but it’s a close call. The Vcore is softer so if I’m standing closer to the baseline I can take a shorter swing and get a similar feeling of compression/dwell time etc. as when I take a longer swing with a stiffer racket.
Good question. Pretty similar now that I think about it. I’d say the EZONE offers slightly better control, especially on flatter shots. I also felt slightly more connected with the EZONE. Power and spin go to the Aero.
You’ll like the video I’m working on right now then… I’ll be comparing the Pure Aero 98, Extreme Tour and Vcore 98. It will be on the most recent versions of them.
The VS is more maneuverable and easier to use in my opinion. The Pure Aero 98 has more power, spin and stability due to the higher swingweight. If I had the VS I wouldn’t necessarily switch
