Enjoying your videos. Do have to push back on Pen exposing Eloise a bit. Pen saying Eloise was with radicals is less ruiness than saying she was with a working class man alone. Pen only exposed her enough to discredit her to be Whistledown but not enough to completely ruin her. Looking forward to the rest if your reactions.
Yes, his eyes are a beautiful dark blue. The lighting of the show doesn't do them justice. You can see them in some scenes. I think they are more noticeable in the other seasons.
Im not defending pen, but eloise is not innocent! Why should pen have to give up what she loves because eloise can't keep her nose out of other people's business. Nobody told her to go look for lady whistledown. I really do love eloise, but i also think she is very self-centered. If pen would have written about theo, it would have been bad for him aswell. Pen is not innocent, she could have told eloise that she was lady whistledown so she would stop looking for her. It all comes down to the both of them being in the wrong. Eloise was reckless.
@@Screenfiend83 It's unfortunate she got those parents, and she in survival mode. I get that. But I have a hard time with bullies. They make my skin crawl.
@@Screenfiend83 I may be one of the few people that's never seen stranger things. Btw, are you going to do Queen Charlotte? Then the universe will be complete.
I love love love your reactions. You are sooo funny and honest in your breakdowns! However, I think a lot happened in this episode, not plot wise per say but I think it was a HUGE character building and relationship building episode for Colin. You really see all of that fake persona that Colin has been putting on with everyone really drop when he is with Penelope. You also get to see that Colin is actually pretty lonely, in his journal he just keeps writing how he feels alone and distant during his sexual experiences. Then on top of that you really see how much Colin seeks out Pen and really enjoys spending time with her, he also cares about what Pen is thinking and feeling, and really boosts her confidence. For a man of this time to really care what a woman wants, feels and thinks about....that is a rare thing. Also every time Pen makes a bad remark about herself he is quick to shut that negative thinking down. He truly sees how wonderful she is and hates that she doesn't see herself that way. It is also interesting to see how Colin and Pen seem to be the most comfortable around each other, they joke, laugh and have witty banter together....also you see that Colin isn't afraid to get angry at Pen, that shows a level of comfortability with one another because with someone you just met I feel like it is harder to show them that side of you. You also totally clocked Jealous playing...I think Colin seeing Pen laugh and have a good conversation with Lord Remington about gossip really hit Colin in the face...he totally starting getting jealous of someone else being able to make her laugh like he did a few minutes earlier with the dead horse joke. I think that kiss at the end was that lightbulb moment for him realizing that what he has been feeling for Pen is more than just a friendship and that the emotional connection he has been seeking in all his sexual escapades in France and the brothels has been in front of him all along. I look forward to the rest of your reactions, I can't wait to laugh out loud at your commentary and analysis!!!
Hey Hun! Its so good. There's another GOT series coming out. I believe it'll center around a character name Sir Duncan and then another Targaryen, Egg.
Season 3: Here we go. This is a very polarizing season, and your theories are interesting. I am curious to see how you feel about this season by the end. This isn't my favorite season at all. There are some interesting choices this season, but I know I will enjoy your reactions. One thing I will say is that the only way Benedict could get Anthony's title is if Anthony died and he and Kate have no sons at the time of his death. All Benedict can do is look after things in Anthony's absence, but the title is always his.
Yea so far, I'm missing the intensity that I felt last season. I already finished 1-4. But hopefully it'll pick up in the second half. One person I'm changing my views on is Ms. Cressida.
Love how quickly you saw that QC felt the vibes with Kate & Anthony's dance, it's a nice tie in to her prequel series which makes me smile. It's common in romances to use the 'keep eyes on me' move but it connects to this season's episode 6 (aka wedding from hell) and this finale. Her capturing glimpses of true love is what endears her the most!
Yea I'm watching Season 3 and so far Season 2 is my favorite. I love the feeling I got from watching it. After season 3 I'm going to watch Queen Charlotte.
We made it to the end. I truly don't think Kate knew for sure Anthoby loved her. I think between her insecurities of not feeling like she deserved love and knowing that Anthony was sexyally attracted to her, a think a part of her thought that it was just passion until Anthony was brave enough to tell her he loved her. I am so happy Anthony is letting himself fully love Kate, and I'm so happy Kate now has a family with the Bridgertons. That is all she has ever wanted. I can't wait until you see them married in s3. I have always had a hard time liking Penelope. She has such a vindictive side when things don't go the way she wants. I will be interested to see how you feel about Penelope in s3. It's definitely a galvanizing season.
Yes we have! I agree. Its definitely her insecurities that made her unsure. The way that man made sure he was near her every chance he could get. That's more than a sexual attraction. I love Pen. She just has a side that she needs to check. Its nasty and cruel. But you also see the good side of her. I'm already up to episode 3 of Season 3. I'm editing the 1st one now.
Very interested to hear thoughts on s3 as well! After the craziness of this one, it's nice to see more of these two idiots in love now that they are actually married and adorable even while moving on to Pen and Colin's story - a triangle of sorts with Eloise too.
The beautiful thing about Anthony love confession was that he wasn’t excepting anything back from Kate but he wanted her to know there is someone who loves her unconditionally with no strings attatched
@@ashleypowell1722 I love that and how he almost looks shocked when she says she loves him too. Jonny is a king with the microexpressions and the way he sort of gasps a bit...is insanely adorable! And him saying that Kate probably wouldn't 'allow it' mirrors the scene with her mother earlier when she thought he proposed due to obligation only but she couldn't 'allow it' because he didn't say he loved her. Their walls were both built back up due to the accident so you could almost feel the distance between them earlier, but he knocked that final speech out of the park!
The family dance is easily one of my favorite scenes of the series! It was not just another good depiction of how close the Bridgertons are but it also shows a nice fatherly side of Anthony and it also helps give Kate's family a lighter feeling which is her primary concern. And that man has no shame when it comes to Kate, which after all the insanity this season is a damn good look!
I felt it was weakly written, seemingly centered on fan service rather than substance. Too many "echoes" from the Trilogy. The actor playing Snow did well in his part, but in my opinion, Lucy Grey was overacted every step of the way. I don't know if it was the book or the way they changed it for Hollywood... but this movie was too much of a "talent showcase" for the Lucy character and left the better parts of the drama and discovery untouched. There was a better story to tell... particularly with this cast. The best actors were relegated to the periphery while LUCY takes center stage.
This isn't my favorite episode. I understand Edwina being upset, but it really bugs me how she isn't really mad at Anthony but doesn't give Kate any grace and is cruel calling her half sister knowing Kate lost both her parents so she craves the connection she has with Edwina and Mary because they are literally all she has. You made me see this episode through a better lens. The last two episodes are twisty, but they are so good. I can't wait until the next reaction.
Okay we are on the same page. I was annoyed when she didn't give him the same energy. I never understood why women do that. I hated it when she said that to Kate. It was extremely hurtful. I see too often in my family and on social media. Blended families take certain pics. They'll take a family photo of everyone, a pic with just their biological kids and then a family photo without the step child. I can't stand when people do that. You are completely disregarding the other child.
@Screenfiend83 It definitely does. I don't believe in step or half. We have family PERIOD! Without spoilers because I don't know if you have watched the last two episodes, yet that is definitely a pain and a hurt that Kate has that has influenced many of her actions this season.
@@veronicaknowsbest It grinds my gears when I hear people say it. Yes I have seen all the episodes. I'm editing number 7 as I write this. It'll be up tomorrow or thursday and the last one will be up friday or saturday. I love the talk that Mary has with Kate in the last episode. It finally opened her eyes that she's not an outsider and she does deserve love.
You're such a beautiful spirit, and I really enjoy your reactions and how you view this season. It's my favorite season, and you really get all the nuances this season has. I can't wait until the next reaction.
I'm so happy I found your channel. I am going to go back and start with your season 1 reaction and catch up. I really enjoyed your commentary and I cant wait until your reaction to episode 4.
I saw it and thought it was pretty good,I don't really expect horror movies to scare me anymore though seeing how it has been a long time since I saw one that actually got me to the core..the last one being IT part one cause part 2 was just annoying. I think it could have done better if they showed the creature only at the end and all the time kept you wondering what the hell is going on in this pool. I have only seen this movie twice and yes it did go to theaters as well but I saw it on my computer. It's not one that will stay with me forever but I found it enjoyable none the less. Then again I have liked a lot of the Bloomhouse movies that came out and others didn't because I had no expectations when watching them and found them entertaining like M3gan. Bloomhouse did well with M3gan in theaters and they did well with Five Nights at Freddy's which also I enjoyed though again isn't scary it's just fun and entertaining like M3gan was and will have a sequal. Have you seen the movie Smile? That one had a few good jump scares to it and one that gotmy heart racing for a little while when seeing it in the theaters. I really liked Smile as a movie so if you haven't seen it then check it out I would be curious to see what you think about it. Smile is also going to have a sequal but not sure what they have planned for it cause the story has not been released yet.
Dito. It's been a looong time since I've been scared. I'm talking about Nightmare on Elm Street early 90's. I think this movie lacked in suspense, maybe had the dad act a little weirder, more things go wrong. Also a better backstory for the pool I love IT part 1. Before it came out I hoped it would be creepy. The tv version was so laughable. Mind you I saw it in the mid 90's when I was like 14 or 15. The remake gave me the jump scares that I needed. I actually recorded a reaction to Megan last year. But when I uploaded the footage to my computer, my mic didn't pick up any sound. I haven't seen Smile. I have it on my Halloween movie list. The previews look good. I know it'll scare me a few times.
@@Screenfiend83 Ya well sadly the trailer of smile gives up one of the best jump scares in that movie but lucky there is one they didn't show and that one made me jump and wow that sucks evil mic then..haha just kidding. Seriously now Smile did scare me a bit cause of the weird smiles and such and by the way the actors are doing those smiles no cgi involved. Any way this one has it's flaws but I still enjoyed it.
I liked the movie but then I read the book and saw how different it is. first off snow never loved Lucy..maybe in a possesive type of way but that was it and Lucy herself in the books isn't exactly innocent either the way she is shown here..she also had her darker side and things she does that are not as it were pure. Snow never cared for his friend he was always using him to get what he wants. The scene where the girl puts her hand in the snakes makes more sense in the book because she had no idea the snakes would attack her when she does so. Yes the fate of Lucy Grey is unknown but if you ask me I think she is still alive and got away pretending to be dead so that all those after her would give up and she could live her own life. Maybe the new book that just came out or is about to any way will explain more about that we will see. I still liked this movie though cause I like seeing how someone becomes the way they are later in life and the fact that Lucy wrote the hanging tree song that Katniss sang in the last movies shows to me at least that she survived long enough for it to become a song that everyone knows as a revelution song. Any way that is just my opionion not sure what the writer has in mind of course.
I agree with everything you said. Especially him using Serjanus. Do you think he's always been bad person or he evolved into one? Also I might read the book. I heard they are coming out with a Haymitch book.
@@Screenfiend83 Not sure he might have been on the verge butfor the most part in the book it's his point of veiw and it shows how munipulative he was and how he did everything he could to get his own way. He might have had some good in him at one point though his ambition took over.
Okay first time seeing a reaction from you, LOVED seeing that you are a true fan, you are on point but DAMN you kept looking away at the coolest visual parts! The Double knife swipe after they attacked Chad was EVERYTHING and you missed it! 😩 anyways still a good reaction!
I know! When I was editing I was like B* you missed the swipe! When you see me looking down, sadly my psoriasis is acting up. Thanks so much for watching! 😁
I had to remind myself that Kate and Edwina have different mothers but the same father. Lady Mary is Kate's stepmom, but Edwina's mom. Fun watching this again with you. Have a good one!
You called all 3 killers from the beginning!!! You’re so good! When I saw it in theaters I thought it would for sure be the cop but I didn’t suspect the other ones.
Thanks! I think because I've watched the series so many times. You can figure out who the killers are. Plus I still think Sam's boyfriend is apart of it.
Hey Pam--No worries about the outside noise, it wasn't bothersome at all. I've enjoyed your rewatch of this season. I think Marina made the right decision. George's brother seems like an honorable man, and Marina doesn't really have any other options anyway. She can either marry him or be literally out in the street. The opera singer did the right thing as well. I agree with you that she is kind of an escape from responsibility for Anthony, even though he may have some actual feelings for her. She finally realized that he would never be able to commit to her and she moved on, so good for her. And with Daphne getting Simon to come to his senses, their storyline is finally complete as well.
Thanks for support! I think Marina did too. Especially after what happened to Lord Featherington. Portia would not want more scandal behind her family name. I'm real curious as to how I'm going to feel about Anthony for the second season.
It took you to put into words how Simon could be so venomous when breaking up with Daphne. "That's his father in him talking". Mind blown. Can't wait for your next one. And please consider doing Queen Charlotte too!
