The reason why the yellow doesnt have a skirt is because of the original source material. The first season of MMPR adapted footage from the japanese sentai series Zyuranger. There, only pink was female. The yellow ranger was a male character. The ‘Bandora Protocol’ is actually a easter egg for zyuranger. Bandora was Rita’s name in the japanese serie. Also not sure if you knew this. When Kat mentions she was at JJ’s junior karate camp, she was referring to her son with Tommy. It ties into the comics.
