Hi, my name is is Andrew and I am a coin collector! I have been collecting coins since I was a kid and started to share some of my experiences on RU-vid starting in 2016. I have come to love this hobby whether it is learning new things, coin roll hunting, or just sorting through my collection! I like to post videos of my coin roll hunts, currency stack hunts, news in the coin and currency world, informational videos and more. The best part of sharing on this platform is to continue to help people learn about coins and spark interest into this wonderful hobby! I hope you stick around and if you are new to the channel, hit that subscribe button! Thank you so much for supporting my channel over the last few years and getting us to over 3,000 Subscribers! It's been so surreal how much we have been able to grow in such a short amount of time. I will continue to create videos and hunt coins so stay tuned for the future!

hey man thanks for the shoutout! i have alot of skunk dime boxes i just got really lucky that one time its not a normal thing happening to me haha (KEEP ON DIGGIN!)
So I wanted to do this before but thought the banks would really consider me a menace for coming in asking for boxes of new rolled coins and trying to return them later. What is your experience with that? Do you have a relationship with the bank? do you have multiple banks you go through?
My key advice for you is to never return the coins to the bank you picked them up from. I find that banks do you a favor by supplying you the coins, go to a different branch to return them. Banker hate taking rolled coins so you don’t want to anger your supplier!
Bro I need your help asap I was looking for silver dimes today which I did find one . I was going through a new roll of dimes from 2022 and I found a dime with no markings front or back just a blank coin . It weighs 2.27 grams it's got the copperish ring on the out side super strange
I hated dimes until I gave up on finding lower mintage coins. I can bang out a box via edge hunting in 15-20 minutes. I've also found customer rolls to be much more productive. During a recent hunt, I found half a roll of silver dimes from customer rolls
Customer wrapped give me the best chance in finding silver too, I’ve been lucky on them in the past, not so much the bank wrapped rolls. Edge hunting is definitely the way to go if looking for silver!
@@captaincoincollector When I got the mercury I thought they gave me a foreign. It had the outline of the mercury head but it looked like someone played parking lot soccer with it with his friends.
@@captaincoincollector I've been hunting like crazy for them quarters with a w mint mark on them. Nothing as of yet , but the hunt must go on 💪 ty for sharing your knowledge with us bro 💯😍👍
@@captaincoincollector ... Believe it or not I bought a box of pennies and was doing a penny hunt mostly for Wheat Cents & Copper... In one box I got an Indian Head penny & a 1943 Steel Cent! I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED!
Pretty good finds! It is amazing how many really good condition pennies can be found. I have found a lot of old coins with mint luster. Thanks for sharing with us
@@TIMOTHYEET69420 on the other hand, finding an Indian head penny in circulation is a rare occurrence. Yes, 80 million were made, but i don’t find them often in circulation often, nor do most others.
@@captaincoincollector that's it! Thanks for the correction. But yeah there's like 6-8 different versions of Lincoln cents for that year. It's kinda overwhelming for me
1982 was the transitional year for modern Pennie’s, the composition changed from 95% copper to just 2.5% copper. The coins with 2.5% copper weigh only 2.5 grams
I’ve always thought it was just finance, but maybe having to do with money, I have a higher rpm? I’ve compared to other videos and find mine relatively average compared to others who posted the same video.
