Welcome to Nathan's BMW Workshop , I made this channel to educate individuals that are eager to learn how to fix and repair their own BMW'S instead of paying the dealership or a shop tons of $$$ , This is a dedicated BMW Diy And How To channel .
Be aware of the possibility of bacteria, no matter what brand you use. Research, research, research, and research some more. Many, dare I say, most supplements are bad, tainted, some even having illegal substances, and may not even have what they claim to contain. So, also research videos/articles on _all_ supplements. With fish oil, a person can freeze a few tabs and see if they burst, or not. If not, freeze the bottle. (A frozen tab can be put in water to see how it dissolves.) Then make/start//try a plan, and write down what you do with dates and times, and amounts, to have a clear record. The so-called bad/good cholesterol needs to be thoroughly researched, also. For instance, there were two major studies in the past that showed lowering the so-called bad would reduce it, but increased the chance of death from other factors. *The bottom line: RESEARCH!* Take everything with a grain of salt... _so you don't raise your blood pressure!_ Heh heh!
Thanks for the info. Been struggling with hpb for most of my life. Im going to try the fish oil. A lot is genetics with me. And mine isn't as severe as yours was. But i have taken the meds for years.
Thank you. I’ve been trying everything.. now trying ashwaganda.. I will give the fish oil a try. My blood pressure been 165/ 96 to 186/110.. been fight with this 6 years and many doctors. They all kept giving losartan.. even when I said it doesn’t work!.. they still insisted on it.. I quit them after realizing I’m on my own for good health. Thanks for the tip. I’ll give it a try and see what happens.
VasqFlow by Xtend life used to reduce my late dad extremely high blood pressure. It's a natural supplement has targeted stuff in one product. That with CX8 for heart are excellent combo
The reason fish oil helped you is because it's known for its reducing inflammation property. Your body is inflamed from the inside because of you being overweight and you need to address the root cause. Other than that you need to incorporate movement in your daily habits, which means to go on a walk for at least 40-60 minutes every day. Taking minerals like Magnesium and Potassium can also help. I switched from Magnesium Glycinate to Magnesium Citrate and it seems to suit me better, but everyone is different.

I went with a low calorie diet, multivitamin, dihydroberberine 100mg and castor oil, being vegan. Beat mounting high blood pressure and pre-diabetes. Dropping 0.5 kg per day, so far.
Hey boss , chris from Baltimore metro area, I just turned 51 and suddenly started having high BP issues and I gone thru same issues. My cardiologist told me buy Thorne Omega 3 w DHA EPA. That's it. It's got Bioprene to get thru intestinal acids n stomach. I take 1 in morning and 1 bedtime. I'm off same pill you was taking and my BP is now like I was playing in nfl. Went from 165/98 to 125/74. On average. I'm sleeping again. Also helps bigtime w stomach issues & IBS
I’m 49. I don’t eat anything that’s more than two ingredients. Go to the gym 6 days a week. Only thing I drink is water. Cholesterol is all with low lab ranges. BP is 110/65. It’s unfortunate Nathan has obviously had some rural crap diet and just now almost a half century later something has dawned on him. I hope he doesn’t waste his time on making these videos. There are 1,000’s of these videos out there. His BMW videos were definitely unique and of huge value to the BMW community. Don’t eat stuff out of boxes and bags and don’t drink anything other than water and you’ll live a long life. Do some no crank no start videos. That is a constant theme in the late 90’s early 2000’s BMW groups. People just shotgun parts until they find a fix.
I've had 180/120.. and it was caused by a chemical added to the bread Subway was adding but the FDA told them they didn't need to list it since it was 'less than 1%'.. It's Banned in the EU
I've been taking Lisinopril for years. I don't have any side effects and I have been taking a 10mg dose the entire time. It does a pretty good job of keeping my pressure at least in the "pre-hypertensive" range (< 140 systolic). But when I started a keto diet, my pressure dropped, consistently, to 115/70, and laying down even 109/55. I've taken the Lisinopril the whole time, but I'm excited to add fish oil to my diet to see if I can eliminate the ACE inhibitor drug.
More doctors are speaking out against fish oil, saying short term it may be good, but there are dangers with long term use. This is for other reasons beyond the heavy metal accumulation in fish oils and the oxidization that can occur during processing. It can cause atrophy, fibrosis, cancer. Please read up on this from doctors with both points of view before making a decisions to take it or not. Best wishes.
I use a "Zero Water" jug with a filter. This product actually comes with a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter. The filters last for about six weeks where I live in Sussex in the UK, where the tap water is really good, as it comes from chalk aquifers. Nevertheless, the TDS reading of unfiltered tap water here is 200 PPM (Parts per million). After the water has been filtered, the reading is zero PPM.
Tried other magnesium supplements but the winner to get my blood pressure down was magnesium taurate! Game changer and thanks so much to the LORD for answering my prayers. He led me to this correct magnesium and used Dr. Alan Mandell too.
I’ve been using CARDITONE (otc) prescribed by my doc 14 years ago for HBP (after bad reaction to pharma meds..which was a blessing!) this stuff is miraculous. It not only fixed my hbp it healed it after a few years.
Thanks for the video and sincere and honest review. Sometimes the simplest approach and ingredients work best . Glad to hear you’re getting a handle on it.
Nathan I had no idea your hypertension was this out of control. I’m 45yrs old. I’ve been a cardiac intensive care nurse for the past 17 years! I’m learning from you. As a nurse I’m only trained to give them and watch out for adverse effects and onset. I want to know the ins and outs and real practicality from people like yourself! I believe preventative is huge, just like in automotive. And I found you simply because I wanted to service the late father’s then E60 550i ZF transmission way back in the day! You have a knack for these types of problem solving!!
I look forward to it!! Fish oil huh. I’m gonna start retaking mine. Working nights wreaks havoc! In return in a small way, I started running with 540RAT Engineering blog’s best wear protecting oils and that’s Quaker State Full Synthetic 5W30 (not Ultimate protection/must be 5W30) for all modern properly running liquid cooled gasoline engines. For conventional automatics, it’s Mobil1 Synthetic ATF Multi Vehicle (silver bottle/black label). The QSFS is $22.97 at my Walmart or Amazon. The M1ATF is $10qt at Amazon (6 pack) or $6/qt at Autozone as they’re on perpetual clearance. Just search online for in stock location, then remind the staff that’s it’s hidden behind the counter or out back lol. I switched from Maxlife because 540RAT tested these new thinner ATFs, Maxlife included and they tested as failure everytime. Yes ATF is multifaceted, but metal to metal it doesn’t do well. I have run the M1 sofar in Toyota, Lexus new and old and Acura ZF with great results thus far. Cheers
Interesting…. Have you considered increasing your potassium levels? I do believe that fish oil is high in polyunsaturated fat which we should all know by now is just unhealthy.
WOW I GUESS ANYBODY CAN GET ON RU-vid AND GIVE OUT BAD INFO...THIS PERSON OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IN THE WORLD THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT...BLOOD PRESSURE IS HIGH BUT NOT SUPER HIGH....FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE U WENT THROUGH ALL THOSE MEDS IN A MATTER OF 2 MONTHS FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE...ALL THOSE BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS WORK TEN TIMES BETTER THAN. FISH OIL FROM THE DOLLAR GENERAL STORE....IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY EATING RIGHT LIKE GARLIC AND BEET JUICE WHICH HAS NITRATES TO LOWER YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE BY HELPING THE BODY PRODUCE NITRIC OXIDE...MOST FISH OIL ON THE MARKET IS RANCID FROM SITTING ON THE SHELVES FOR YEARS...BETTER TO EAT FISH... DO NOT TAKE THIS PERSONS ADVISE...PLUS LOTS OF THE STUFF HE SAYS ABOUT THE DOSAGE IS TOTALLY OFF... EVERYTHING IS ANECDOTAL WITH NO SCIENTIFIC DATA
Ahh you didn't watch the video , I went through all those meds since 2018 not 2 months , the mayo clinic did the research campaign on it in late 2022, that whole paragraph you typed is a let down, you sound like a dr or a nurse just by the wording you used , shame shame .... this whole world is about paying attention and that sir you did not do at all ...
