The Concrete Confessional addiction blog author wrote the best articles I've ever read on methadone maintenance ("Metha-Don't") and methadone / suboxone pros and cons ("Methadone and Suboxone Maintenance: Doubled-Edged Sword or Sword of Damocles"). Highly recommend giving them a read if you're considering either maintenance option. He's been on both, but he's also a medical student who understands the data available and the clinical picture. He responded to an email about my son's situation personally and connected us with some resources, which I appreciated so much,.
So a few years later, i tried it and to my surprise the results have been spectacular:) Unilatéral blocks used to happen twice in a row, now they almost never happen. Multiple failure is also gone.. i do get much more sleep at night😁. So the point is first thank you for your lecture. And second.. can you tell us why you do them in lateral position? Hope you see my message:) Thanks a lot
Giving Fentanyl hurts the baby. You are a dangerous anesthesiologist. Your license should be taken away. Way lower Apgar scores when Fentanyl is used. Obviously you do not care how your anesthesia affects the baby.
I LOVE this video! These demonstrations are wonderful! But the videos are labeled so that I am unable to find anything! I can't find the demonstration of the anesthetic induction process, or the process of drawing up the anesthetic medications! You cannot find anything! I'm going to have to go to Vimeo to find the right video! I HATE Vimeo! I'm use to RU-vid! You can do much more stuff.
She bravely gave consent to use her pictures and you mock and shame her illness/psychiatric or metabolic issues with classless and crude crispy creme burger jokes. I feel so sorry for her, what a purposeless betrayal.
I had the procedure done. Needless to say I survived it. I had fell hard and cut my chin that required 5 stitches. About a week later I developed a headache that wouldn’t go away for 3 days. My head felt like it was going to explode. Went to the emergency room and low and behold….. when explained that I had an epidural hygroma. Wtf?! I was in the hospital for 10 days in pain. This was on top of my final month of chemo/radiation. Thank God I’m alive and walking. No more treatments no more looking back!
I had my baby boy in 2019 and had to have an epidural that went totally wrong. During the process my leg shoot up and in a few minutes I left leg was as big as Pole. Days later had a blood patch that helped with the headaches and was sent home. Now last year in November my headaches came back so bad that I was rushed to ER and once again had a second blood patch that helped for only a few days that the docs had to perform a third blood patch. That help and I was sent home. Now this year since last month the headaches are back again am so stressed have 4 kids to take care of. Imagine after 3 blood patches and here again from zero. So 3 years of headaches it’s unbelievable this epidural thing should be made very clear
They did two blood patches and no relief so what is the next options I had two days of relief and headache came back so now what they said just lay down for two weeks I have a six year old and a newborn I can’t live like this what can they do

Hi Leeann, how are you feeling now? Did it go away? I’m in the same spot and looking for some hope that this will eventually go away.
@@uavdoug985 Yes it did. My symptoms consisted of headaches when standing, ears ringing, ears felt clogged up but from all of that I developed really bad anxiety and fell into postpartum depression. My baby is 5 months now and my depression and ear symptoms are starting to fade and was put on medication. My headaches eventually went away after the patch. I consulted different specialists and assured me my leak had closed with the patch but we stay with residual symptoms for a few months and was given migraine medication because I was told I was going to get migraine headaches from now on. Tell your wife not to worry she will get better just to be in bed rest not holding nothing heavy for two weeks after patch so it won’t dislodge and heal appropriately. Best wishes to her.
I'm in the same position. Had baby 4 Days ago and blood patch next day. It didn't work. Went to hospital yesterday and was given a migraine cocktail and Tylenol. No real relief. Ears feel like they're full of water now as well. Head and neck pain into mid back. Would love to hear your responses and results.
There are no alternatives, JUST PATCH THE SUFFERING PATIENT. The postural element of a spinal headache may only be apparent after a week or so. Any sign of a leak needs patching as you have no idea of the damage going on. For spontaneous intercranial hypotension caused by spontaneous CSF leak AND PDPH patching should be standard. Opiates should also be given where tolerated.
