I am currently pregnant with hypertension, I'm taking Nifedipine 20mg twice a day, once in morning & once before I sleep. However I do feel Constant headaches, severe swelling in feet, hands & face. Also my highest blood pressure with the BP has been 155/105 however the complaints I'm making of how Ill I feel Everyday it's totally disregarded, I had severe pre eclampsia with my first pregnancy, but my second automatically being high risk and getting high BP from 20 week I was litreally begging for BP tablets to help with the constant pressure headache I've had I still feel like I've had lack of care, and during the day I'm relying on paracetamol which don't really help, as when your blood pressure is high its a very different kind of pressure feeling in your head I'm still dealing with the pressure headaches but my doctors are more concerned about pre eclampsia to be found in the blood and urine. I am not 35 weeks today and still no improvement with my headaches, I've not been able to enjoy my pregnancy and had been advised several times I'll be induced a lot earlier but happen to find they keep pushing through week by week. My BP is being monitored twice a week with the medication it's at border line, as its around the 140/90 mark, according to some docs they saying its controlled. But my symptoms I have don't mean nothing to them. At the moment I'm just disappointed concerned for my health in the long run as I'm trying my best to get this under Control myself which I don't think is being managed well with my care at the moment.

Controlling the blood pressure you are in the dark unless you know if you have high CO or high resistance or both.
