I have the same setup, my 9.9 is a 1975 and I got it free and its almost ready for its first run. Replaced coils, points, plugs, water pump. I still have to rebuild the carb. I was wondering how fast it would go. thanks.
these must be the luckiest gringos on earth, not once did they get pulled over or messed my police in Mexico, heck I'm Mexican myself and when I go, its Christmas for them, I get pulled over by "CARTLES, POLICIA:FEDERAL.ESTATAL, TRANSITO, JUDICIAL, Marina and la guardia nacional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and these guys just are luccccccccccccccccccccccky!

I drove from New Jersey to Cancun and back in 2023. It was a crazy drive. Enjoyed a lot with lots a good and unpleasant experiences. Unforgettable trip. Took close to 70 hours one way.

Unfortunately due to the massive volume of illegals coming across the border, the number of people allowed in legally are small and are the ones that suffer due to trying lawfully.
I know a guy in Columbia Maryland who got married in Mexico to a Mexican national, and he’s bring not only his wife but his Mexico born child and stepson as well! I’m pretty sure there’s something else you can do my man! I would be happy to introduce you to him if you need more info!

I travelled all over Mexico 🇲🇽,many times,didn’t go to Guatemala 🇬🇹yet ,I always drive by the gulf coast not Monterey and San Louise potosi,it’s faster less mountains and this the international highway that drivers going to Guatemala 🇬🇹 from the us use, I know you guys had so much fun,amazing countries and cultures.
