Did you guys buy car insurance at the boarder, Lorado ? I want to do a similar road trip to Mexico from Dallas to Monterrey or San Miguel . Keep up the good Christian work.
@@AndrewLawlin really enjoyed this video never seen your stuff before. My first vehicle was a 93 4Runner 4x4 and I would give soo much money to have it again. Enjoy your Yota! FYI: if you don't know what TOYOTA stands for it's this: Tow Out Your Own Truck, Asshole. HAHAHA!! 4Runners are awesome!!
I think I talked to you briefly at the chocolate factory in Copan Ruinas! This video showed up on my suggestions, what a coincidence. Glad you had an awesome trip
This is cool... my dad drove a truck (with a friend) from NYC to Honduras in 1990. Told me it got a little crazy once he had to cross Mexico. He flew back to the USA once the delivery of the truck was done.
Great road trip and thanks. Many people told me I was crazy to drive the entire Pan American Highway, from Florida to Argentina. After two years and many amazing experiences I'm back in Florida to tell all about my fantastic trip. I also drove a Tundra with a truck camper, volunteered at schools, orphanages, turtle saving camps, and a host of other activities in exchange for a free place to park my camper. Never had any issues, made so many life long friends. Keep traveling my friend. Cheers @Tales of the Pan American Highway, Bernard
@@theColombiano11 Yes, I'm under the impression that's nearly impassable in a vehicle without some kind of support of specialised equipment. Ferry from Panama to Colombia?
@@megalomotors The guy is possibly embellishing as the PanAm highway's northern terminus is not Florida (it's Alaska iirc) and the Darien is virtually impassable.
@@theColombiano11 I'd like some more details. Specifically the means by which the original poster travelled from the Pan-Am Southern terminus in Yaviza, Panama to the roads continuation in Turbo, Colombia.
Me and my dad we used to drive from Maryland all the way to Mexico to see our family over there during the holidays. It’s pretty amazing seeing someone else doing it as well
Getting caught in DC rush hour seems like it could have been the most frustrating and least exciting experience you could potentially have on a trip like this. I'd like to experience transport culture in other nations! Hope it went fairly smooth otherwise!
Bro you’re style editing is literally PERFECT for road trip videos I really wish people would copy your editing style bc I hate clicking a road trip video and it be either fast forwarded dash cam video footage or just load music over long clips lol you update us film the gas station stops the clips aren’t to long or short it’s perfect keep filming your road trips they’re enjoyable to watch
Thanks so much! It means a lot! I tried to keep a 94-hour trip to 25 minutes, and it was a bit hard, but hearing you say this means a lot! Thanks for taking the time to watch!! Really appreciate it!
That guy driving the “truck” on pallets, we use to have that in Brazil. They are transporting the chassis to the cabin factory, saves on transport. In my state it was busses, so from Mercedes factory (chassis/drivetrain) it would go to Marcopolo for example to add all the cabin. It was my dream job as a kid, looked so cool to drive a chassis with only one seat and a helmet.
Welcome to Honduras, congratulations for the wedding. I am married to an American, it is crazy all the requirements they ask to marry a foreigner in Honduras, but in the end it is worth it, I hope you had a good experience with the paperwork, many blessings. And enjoy our country 🇭🇳🇺🇲
Yes, I am so thankful be married to Daniela she is WONDERFUL! now we are trying to get a visa for her soon! That's been a whole process! I will enjoy my time In Honduras!
Wow, perfect editing to showcase the trip. Some other vlogs waste so much time with antics and showing every little thing. Most of us just want to see the highlights and this 25 minute video is the perfect length and edit to show the whole trip without any nonsense
@@georgesunil1745 cool! I plan on driving from Porto Alegre to Macapá, then Georgetown, then on to Manaus - Cusco - Cartagena. What is your planned route starting from Guyana?
That was a really awesome trip. I really enjoyed all of the scenery that you guys filmed and shared with all of us. God‘s timing is absolutely amazing to witness and I’m very thankful that He was there for the both of you and keeping you guys safe. Hallelujah!
This was such a cool video!! It felt like I was part of your trip and by the end when you said the adventure was over it legit got to me! 😭✨ hope life is going well for you, wish you all the best!
@@AndrewLawlin so happy to hear that! I’m figuring out my next step too after graduating college. It’s quite a change, but I’m pretty sure we’ll manage! 💪🏻 remember to take it easy at times!
Back in the day I made a few road trips from California to Southern Mexico in my little Mazda truck. Fun times! This was a nice video, thanks for sharing. 😊
I really enjoyed taking a ride with y'all in this video. Next trip please add some expense clips for things like fuel and car services along the way. This is something I want to do with my sons when they are old enough in my GX460, subscribed and god bless
Awwe❤ An addendum, just watched another video of yours and realized you are newly wed!!❤ I watched the wedding videoa Your bride is beautiful!! ❤ May God bless your future together!! 🙏🙏♥️♥️ Also, whoever did the photography at your wedding, did a fantastic job!!
what I nice and inspiring friendship video. I am from Copan, and your new subscriber. It was quite nostalgic when I watch you guys swimming at the hotel in Copan Ruins.
What nice guys you are. I love your video. You’re so charismatics. New subscriber. I am watching you from San Antonio Tx, I am from México. Sending hugs for you both.💞💙💕💚💜😊
my dad used to do this a lot. he would drive in trucks and school buses full of stuff into honduras just to sell. he'd tell me how the border crossings were always the worst especially in mexico. glad i got to see this as well.
RU-vid algorithm brought this video on my to watch list. I'm glad I did. You did a great job putting it together. Looking at your other videos looks like you pursued the woman of your dreams in another country. That is great. I don't know if the term passport bros is controversial, but it looks like the path you took. In which case your happiness is all that matters. I don't know you but I hope things are going well. Everyone deserves to find happiness.
That's so funny I just drove across the harry nice bridge a couple hours ago to get home to Spotsylvania and this video was recommended. Small world and very cool trip! Might have to try to travel down that way someday
In the 1990's I drove from Corpus Christi to Oaxaca three times, once to Merida, and a few times to San Miquel De Allende. I love driving in Mexico, especially in the winding mountain roads. Keeps you on your toes!
Love this, we live and do ministry out of Tegucigalpa (From Nashville, TN) always thought about driving down. Did they question anything about the vehicle you drove or require anything other than passports? did every gas station have credit card option to Pay? love the video and welcome to Honduras!!
So if you decide to drive down, you will need a few significant things. Mexican car insurance title in your name some other things like that. All of the gas stations that took cards other than one out in the middle of nowhere. I spent a lot of time picking where I was going and talking to people who had done it before. I would do that as well. Also, if you are bringing a car that's older than 10 years old, make sure the amnesty that allows older cars to be imported is still here. It should expire by April 2024, but double-check that!
I just came across your video and it was interesting to me. Why? We are at the same State. I'll follow your journey in life. I just subscribed to your channel. Take care!
I am moving to Honduras to do missions Videos for different organizations! It is been really great! Cars in Honduras can be expensive, and you don't know their history. Oftentimes, they are crashed cars that get imported for cheap into Honduras and fixed, but not all the safety features or mechanical issues are fixed. Thats why I drove it from MD to Honduras! also for the adventure!
NOW I believe that y'all the viewers and me would like you to make a video of the specific road route,so..many other travelers to Honduras could do the same, because crossing through México isn't something that everyone would like to do (worst unarmed) and by federal roads😳, we definitely and absolutely need that video!.
Ya I tried to link to all the towns we stayed in so people could kinda follow the Journey if they wanted too. I might make something like that sometime.
We drove Mexico in 91 in a 79 VW van. Great times. I hope you had a great time to... about to graze your vid. I wonder --why Honduras? But i figure you know what you are doing. "Lanes are just guidelines here". You learn to "smerge". I suspect you are up to GOOD on your mission.
one of my fav road trip vids ive seen, it felt like i did the drive almost. Who knew Guatamala was that nice def not me, hope u plan to do more road trip videos in the future or pass it on to ur friend to carry the torch lol
I drove from Havre de Grace to Key West a couple weeks back and I thought that was a hell of a drive. 😂. One thing i learned over the years is if you have to go through DC on a road trip, try to time it where you get there well after rush hour(s). 295 Maryland and 295 Virgina are a damn parking lot in rush hour traffic.
