regarding 0:21 Just a heads up for others. i incidently overfilled because the video said 4 gallons but if you buy Motorcraft diesel oil the big jug comes 1.24 gallons so you just need 3 jugs of Motorcraft. Glad i found the issue of having an overfilled amount of oil. My powerstroke did not like that but still was able to drive just wasn't idling smoothly like im used to.
Kill switch gets wet from rain and losses electrical contact not allowing it to send contact too ecu too engage, check your kill switch and ignition switch and battery first. Battery must read 14v on a multimeter too start bike.
I know this is older video but took mine apart today and I was trying to get the couper off and accidentally ball bearing came out and I didnt make sure of their placement is this an issue really if they all measure the same?
I know this is a bit after the fact since some of these answers are a few years ago, but in another video the guy doing the vid used an after market filter ( but from a quality filter maker) and it came with a rubber seal to replace the one in the oil filter seal cap. He did so because the one in the cap had become flat( which was very noticeable in the video) this wasn’t covered in this video. He he neglect to mention it or is the Motocraft seal an additional cost and part number?
Sorry, I’ve been going through some life changes and had to put this project to the side for a bit. I will be back at it very soon. I have half of the next video done already. Thank you for your patience.
