Tightening the valves we used a pair of old valve covers and cut the center out of the top enough to get the socket on the nut - It keeps the oil in the valve covers, Good video by the way
As a apartment renter and no access to a garage for my car repairs. I may not use a Canadian tire or home depot parking lot especially not during business hours 🤔 but after hours have at her.😅😅😊. I did my brakes in my parking spot at my building. I ain't paying $1000 for a garage to do the brakes on my car when I can repair it myself for just cost of the parts.
Re: your epilogue. 100% I remember a neighbor had one of those boa-skis, used to bomb around with no hood on, it was small, nimble and reliable, could bomb deep drifts all day long, fun! I could've bought it for $150 some time around 1976. a mint vintage machine is nice to take to shows, but an old bomb like one of these is awesome to have fun on.
BEWARE of those who treat ALL Snapper rear engine riders the same when repairing them, ALL of the differentials, chain cases are NOT the same, all the adjustments are NOT the same, get the Model number OFF of the Serial plate on the frame & use it to get a Owners manual & parts manual for the SPECIFIC mower.
10:43 Do NOT TIP these up unless you have verified the battery is 100% SEALED, WARNING, all capless batteries are NOT sealed, I tipped one up thinking it was sealed but the acid leaked out a small vent in the batttery
Mr. Cody, New sub 552 here. Damn son, not only do you mechanic well, but you edit and narrate just as well, if not better. You are able to take fairly mundane subject matter, add in your communication, sprinkle in some good editing and...voila...outcomes a charming, informative and entertaining video. I sincerely hope your channel exceeds your expectations. Thank you.
This video is kinda cathartic. I live in northern Indiana and there isn't a single car over 15 years old that doesn't look like that thing did. Nice to know, even my clapped out shitbox can look nice... I'm still getting pulled over, because there are no Pontiac GPs that don't have weed in them.
