I have this same CPU in my test bench, have had for years. It can still play newer games decently well, although it will be running at 100 percent most of the time. I think I got it for around $34 dollars 6 years ago. I respect the hell out of it. It has been a trooper.
in case a black screen appears, press windows button+Ctrl+Shift+B . It will restart the graphics card making it able to run. I tried this on a 13yr old laptop and it worked!
So the 2060 runs at 60-90%? That's pretty okish still for such an ancient CPU! Crazy man. I still have an old 3570 computer and am thinking of buying a used 2060 just to flip it for a better price. But I don't want to rip anyone off. It's still an ok rig for the low budget brokies right?
@@Psyonex I would reeeeeeeally recommend caving for a new CPU. i'm still on the same setup as I said I'd switch to. It's not bad, I haven't tried starfield, but you're gonna have to max out the graphics in most games (not sure about NEW new games, but the ones I play) since you want the GPU doing all the work. your game may look pretty, but most likely will microstutter. If you have high speed DDR3 or DDR4 ram you'd be good, ideally an SSD too. I'm running like the worst combo. SLOWWWWWWW DDR3 ram (1333mhz), an old HDD, plus the specs aforementioned.
I really want to upgrade my GPU but also want it to be a good upgrade for later years when I switched the mobo and CPU. In the meantime I will bottleneck my i5-3570k with a 6700xt 😆.

You should be able to get plenty of gaming done with this pairing, you may be cpu bound a lot of the time but I don’t see it being a problem to hold you over!
For me. RTX 2060 is top notch for I5 3570 without bottleneck. You can't go any further from 2060. I have i5 3570 non k + 2060 i have 60+ frame every game and GPU use about 9x % that didn't bottleneck. You are wrong.
Nice setup for the money bro xD Now from the comments I'm reading just lol xD There is always a bottleneck no matter what u do, for this budget specially 6 months ago.. u did more than great ;) If I would do something on this setup, that would be just ddr4 optimizations to tight those timmings as much as I can. Still 3200mhz on the 2600 IMC is a win. Ftw I'm about to finish a setup for a friend like this but mb with a 6700xt/6800, that's what I call bottleneck :P hehe @1440p though (1080p would be stupid).
This has actually been my Videocard since 2021 until now, and I can play OW2 at 70-60FPS and Days Gone at 40-25 FPS (sometimes it strike 50 to 60 fps but it depends) Can run Valorant in 150-90FPS my specs (just sharing..) i5-3470s (my old is i3 3210 processor) Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5 8GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz
