I would like to build a budget pc also for Elite Dangerous, a space sim. But I don't know where to start, they say a i5 processor is ok for it, but how to figure out which motherboard?? GPU needs to be minimum a GTX 3050 they say but the prices, damn..... Good video , liked and subcribed.
Elite dangerous? That’s an older game right? Like 2014? Shouldn’t take too much to run that! I think the $250 pc that we built a few videos back could run that!! Unless I’m mistaken for a different game! Never played it!

@@g49gaming7 Also, there are a lot of performance issues with the game, bad coding they say, some people have a low budget and run it good, some have a high end pc and are struggling to keep the frames up whatever that means lol. I'm kinda old and don't know much about all of this.
Would not recommend for editing, If you are on an extremely tight budget its great for gaming but if you can stretch the budget just a bit more id try to get at least the i5-10400 its not too much more expensive, and also with the extra cores you could get some light video editing done.
G49 Gaming, got a question for you. with out a doubt you know better where to look . I hear a lot about the dell optimax pc's. Can you help me with a little bit of guidance which dell optimax( referbished) i should have to buy and which adjustments I should have to do to play a game like Euro Truck Simulator 2. Well as their are so many different variants of the optiplex, it’s hard to recommend just one specifically, if you go on eBay and just search up “dell optiplex” you will get tons of results, look for one that has AT LEAST an i5-3xxx but I’d suggest getting something with an i7-3xxx, also I’m not a huge fan of small form factor versions or “sff” because sff graphics cards seem to fetch a bit more money these days, so go with a mini tower version if you can! A lot will come with 8gb of ram but try to get one with 16gb you won’t regret it, and pairing that with a 1050ti graphics card you should be able to run ets2 with no issues, I have a $250 pc build on this channel if you want to give that a peek that should be able to run the game as well!
