After this cutscene I equipped Quinn with a bunch of cybernetic armor pieces and continued as if my Sith had torn him limb from limb and only kept his head alive on a droid body as a mock existence. A sort of warning to any would be traitors.
He had to of. Why else would he of secretly instructed Lord Draahg to pretend inferiority by holding back his full fighting capabilities in their confrontation with Darth Vengean. That was very much an insurance policy & safety measure for Baras because he knew that he'd prefer to sick Draahg on the Warrior first whilst staying in the distance when the time comes to betraying him, instead of getting close & doing the deed himself risking a potential loss which would mean death. Baras is cautious around those he knows are capable, & his preferred method of taking down capable individuals is by blindsiding them with betrayal through the use of proxy's or underlings. Draahg & Baras obviously communicated some time before this scene somehow to tell Draahg to not go all in when fighting. He was definitely laying the groundwork, & he'd only do that if he acknowledged just how formidable the Sith Warrior was.
I always wonder because Darth marr didn't get much screen time for me , so I wonder if in future cannons he could be someone resurrected that would be cool
i dont think there is a canon age so in theory you could head canon vette and the warrior to be the same age which i think is early 20's .. When going to the academy i think would place the warrior/inquisitor most likely to be between 18-21 ( warrior maybe a bit younger since you went earlier than you should) .. just my cents.. and the class story takes place over 3 years, which would place them at around 21-24 by the end, i think. but again.. head canon and all that :)
@@brodyestes2376 yeah sounds about right.. i also read somewhere the first 9 chapters of KOFTE takes place over a year.. soo, 26-29 maybe even if we are pushing it; 30 ..
I like to think that 1 planet finished = 1 year you start at korriban around 18, next Dromund kaas 19, Balmorra 20 and so on and if my calculation is correct Nar Shaddaa Tatooine Alderaan Taris Quesh Hoth Belsavis = Our charcter would be 27 yo here Voss Corellia Ilum Makeb Rishi Yavin 4 = and here we would be 31 yo
i kill her myself. but this scene is one of the reasons i like playing an imp character. the fact that the jedi wants to lock her back up after she was freed shows their flaws, say she was to be freed later and no one stopped her like this time, the amount of death she could inflict. killing her now is actual the most sound and moral choice in the long run (in my opinion)
@@johnblackhead2384 No, I mean when you travel between planets. They all have an upper limit of character level, so if you're above it, it levels you down to that planet's level.
@@TheGreatDearLeaderJimPickens I get that part. I’ve fought Baras many times and he was never a level 10 in the end game on Dromund. I’ll do a little googling. Thanks for responding. 👍👍
@@edmcgraw3198 In game cartel market. It's Satele Shan outfit with Black and Red dyes combined with Darth Malgus pants, shoes I don't know from which outfit are they.
Is it really a betrayal if he was never on our side to begin with? His goal, always, was to consume everything. If anything, he’s more generous to us at the end, letting us live longer
@@TheGreatDearLeaderJimPickens Which is a mistake. Because he could have recruited the Wrath as his protector. Instead the Wrath eventually destroys him. It also doesn't make sense why he just lets himself be killed by the Wrath on Zakuul and inhabits his mind. He should have used his Force powers to try to kill the Wrath and his children, knowing they would be a threat to his plans.
@@JohnCena-le1jj The Emperor is first and foremost, an egoist. He has survived centuries through inhabiting various forms, he views himself as invincible, his plans as infallible, any thwarting of said plan is temporary and simply a nuisance. He saw in the Outlander, Warrior, Knight, even Smuggler, a potential new vessel. He wanted the Outlander to kill him, so that he *could* inhabit their mind, use them to his own ends, and eventually take over their body, all the damage done to Zakuul between those two points was simply the cost of a makeover with a fresher, potentially more powerful body. Even if not more powerful, at the very least he kind of does hate the Outlander that much. The Knight killed him, the Wrath disobeyed him, Darth Nox/Imperius is a thorn in his side and also an interesting Sith, the Consular thwarted his Children, all the non-force users are simply nuisances that refused to die when commanded, that alone fascinates him enough to want to personally fuck them over. The very concept of any one of these characters being able to stand up to him is laughable, and the whole time he is preparing your body. If you take his power to try and kill Arcann in the initial 9 chapters, later you cannot refuse his help to save Lana, he will override the decision. He is taking a hold of your body, and letting him anywhere close to the driver's seat solidifies his hold over your body, which he does not grant powers to out of the goodness of his heart, or a perceived shared goal in killing his kids. The thought of failure, simply didn't occur to him. It was impossible. He had already won in his mind.
After Duke Kendoh, FimmRess and his entourage had outlived their usefulness, my male DS-aligned Zabrak Sith Warrior/Assassin killed them all and it was brutal! 😈😈😈
I had an interesting bug as a result of the companion count increase mod (I played on the harder difficulty and liked the immersion of a full fellowship) I had 4 extra custom made companions get teleported here with me and Shadowheart (my other vanilla story companions didn’t get involved with the sequence and stayed at camp). My custom companions stayed at the beginning of the astral plane and couldn’t be controlled. I saved the Emperor with Shadowheart (really hard fight with just two controllable people) and when we left it kept my companions trapped in the Astral Plane. As the game continued to Act 3 they were brought back from the Astral Plane, but with a twist. They had a permanent astral gravity condition for the entirety of Act 3 until we returned to the Astral Plane near the end. I had a Monk, a Barbarian, a Bard, and a Wizard with jumping distances tripled meaning the barbarian and monk could leap tall buildings in a single bound, and the Wizard and Bard were super maneuverable on the ground. It was the greatest boon as half my party got super powers while my character hogged mind flayed tadpoles. They lost the condition during the big invasion at the end, but by then I had done so much they didn’t need it. It was the best.
I fought with the emperor like 5 times tonight and FINALLY won and he spoke to me and he spoke to me, my people were in such bad shape that I long rested and the portal disappeared. I have tried all night to get it back..I'm tempted to never turn the game back on..I am so pissed
The problem is illithid in the group that certainly can not be moved. I have just put the illithid far away before the conversation with the Emperor. This should solve the problem
Upon further experimentation, this is a dialogue/story bug. ****SPOILERS BELOW*** ****SPOILERS BELOW*** ****SPOILERS BELOW*** ****SPOILERS BELOW*** ****SPOILERS BELOW*** If you: 1) Talk to the emperor but don't give him the shards or agree to transform. Exit to talk to companions. 2) Talk to Karlach and agree to let her transform. 3) Talk to Emperor and let him transform Karlach. 4) But then say you refuse to kill Orpheus which makes the Emperor mad and he changes sides. But you choose an option where you tell Laezel that you won't kill Orpheus. 5) Then you smash the stones to free Orpheus. 6) Orpheus acts like Laezel is dead, even though she isn't. 7) The portal prompt will instantly close when you try to go through. I assume it is because the game doesn't like thinking Laezel is dead at the same time she actually isn't.
