Yes, good points! Both those methods are in use but being replaced by Apeel. Apeel is made of unknown components and contains several heavy metals and solvents. There's more - I'm planning a full video soon 😊
Besides most likely being GMO, corporate "farmers" use two main techniques to enhance longevity and reduce loss on their products spoilage. Modified Atmosphere Packaging: Many store-bought lettuce products are packaged in modified atmosphere bags or containers that remove oxygen and replace it with gases like nitrogen or carbon dioxide. This inhibits the growth of microorganisms and slows down the ripening process. Wax Coating: Some lettuce products are coated with a thin layer of wax, which helps to prevent moisture loss and reduce the risk of spoilage.
Holy moly! THANK YOU for saving the life of my Canon MG5320. I tried everything from checking paper jams, replacing ink cartridges, cleaning the printer head, opening and closing, etc. I was so close to just getting a new printer until the printer gods lead me to your video. I covered just the initial two connectors that you suggested and it worked! I mostly use my printer to scan and print black and white, so I'm grateful just to be able to do those two things. Thank you for making this video!
I want to thank you for the bottom of my heart, your persistence paid off. I covered the four pins as suggested and was able to run a full clean. Didn't want to remove the tape for now until I finish printing a project I need to complete. I will definitely try to run a deep clean and remove the tape to see if it prints in color again, but still black and white works for me. Thank you again!😀
Never ever use generic cartridges! There is tons of money into research for printer ink, to prevent clogging. I learned that lesson the hard way years ago. Only use OEM ink! Every manufacturer says "compatible" to get you to buy it!
Thanks Cool BUT Another thing I believe we are missing is the "BED" of the printer heads, where they "SLEEP" when not in use, needs come cleaning. Observe where the printer cartridges/heads position themselves in their bed position when the printer is turned off. This area of the printer is where the heads rely on being clean and able to seal from ink drying out while not in use. While turned off, move the heads over so you can access this area. Use a flashlight to see well. Using a water-wet-moist paper towel/napkin, clean this area and any rubber flaps. Constantly turn the paper to a clean area until it is a dirty ball. Repeat with a new wet paper towel/napkin, up to like 5 of them. You'll never get all the ink to come off but at least the majority of it. This might be the reason our heads are drying out or clogging because we've never cleaned their "bed area". Take care

Very interesting my thoughts though are this topic unfortunately will not change except for the worst because the users of said platforms and social networks are so deeply invested and it has become part of the social change. In fact society our culture has forgotten and or abandoned personal relationships and community togetherness. Sad!
I did what the OP suggested, taping the 4 pins on the print head. Wow. It worked. Losing the color print ability but I can live with it. This saves me buying a new printer for now. Thank you very much OP. My printer is MX882
The thing Cannon does that infuriates me is that if the printer is low on even one ink, it also disables the scanner. I need the scanner way more often than the printer. After too many of these episodes where the scanner was disabled by a print problem, I'm dumping Canons forever and going with Epson, which doesn't hold the scanner hostage to the ink tanks.
Wow! Worked like a charm! You are a godsend. I was about to spend $400.00 on a new printer! This solved the problem! Went straight to the “cover 4 pins” method that worked for you. Who cares about color printing! 😂. You’re truly the best and such a great teacher. First time I ever did anything like this!
How did you get to the purge head and clean it? i just realized my track the print head are connected to is very dirty with ink and wonder if thats what causing the issue?
From a medical standpoint i think this is a good thing. But this kind of technology is is going to be controlled by governments and that is where i have concerns.
Ciao aiuto ho una stampante canon mx 925 dopo aver pulito ina notte la testina e rimessa sembrava tutto ok ma e durato solo qualche ora il problema e tornato cosa posso fare? Adesivo su queli pin? Grazie
Love the dedication on trying to fix this error. 👍 Being an I.T. professional for the past 25+ years, this is why i don't even bother with inkjet printers anymore. Throw it in the gutter, & go buy another. However, for those that insist, don't buy the cheap ink or re-manufactured cartridges. You'll typically have less issues when you use OEM cartridges.
After 2 days of cleaning and stress, getting nowhere, was about to throw the printer out. Saw your video, tried covering up the pins and omg! Thank you! Right now i don't care its only in black and white, that's infinitely better than it just being an oversized paper weight! 😊
my experience with mx925 and b200 error: tried mask first 4 pin of the first row , no more b200 but after some operation the printer launched an incompatible printhead error, after some tryout i masked first 5 pin on the left and last 2 pin on the right, now i can use the scanner (not try to print).
Just came across this video after replacing the encoder strip and the print head (non OEM). I tried to remove the tape to test the color printing but found no success. I was starting to blame the printer etc then reviewed my printhead order and realized I ordered an inexpensive eBay part that is Black Ink only. So the error and issue may be by design in my case but the tape works to bypass the printer setup as it's color and expects color. I am now looking at an alternate print head that is color. Just wanted to share that in my experience this worked but the issue was a user error and not the printer itself.
