Welcome to my channel! I'm Bailey, I'm a stay at home mom of twin toddlers and the owner of a new small business Goo Goo Goods. I'm sharing my journey of starting a diaper bag business on Amazon & Etsy. Thanks for watching!
You might have done this already. Make a template file for your printer or your cricut and do print then cut. Would eliminate a couple steps on those scrunchie holders
I went with the Sawgrass sublimation printer specifically for the maintenance the machine does on its own. The Epson printers said we had to run it & do daily/weekly maintenance & with the Sawgrass printer it does it all on its own. I’ve had it for about 3 years and I love it!
Hi Bailey! Why do you use the water soluble on the t-shirts? I haven’t seen any other embroiderer do that. I love all your designs and love the color tshirt with the Reese’s cup!! So Fall-like and pretty!
I had the same thing with my epson. But you’re able to do it yourself. Granted it took a bit of research. And you have to download a software to reset the counter. But Amazon does sell the waste tank. And it’s a relatively easy switch out. There’s also a guy on RU-vid who shows you exactly how to do it. The software gives you a one time code, and I think that was like 10 bucks. Just for future reference
A lot of people aren’t very technical smart! I get yelled at because people are stupid and don’t know how to use the computer apps and downloads. It’s sad then people blame others for there shortcomings. Your machine is gorgeous wish u great luck with it!
those look like bad files. get the free base platform of Embrilliance so you can see the density map and watch a render of the stitchout. Many people who sell their digitized art don't have machines to test them on and also aren't very good at digitizing. Repeatedly trying to stitch the same bad file is like trying to fix a pothole by driving over it differently
Another great video! Hope you had a successful show in Tampa! Oh my goodness! I miss going to the Y! I loved being able to take my kids and leave them in the nursery. Gave me time to be me and step away from being a mom or wife for an hour every day. My kids were 26 months apart so I know that’s not the same as twins. Keep with it. And you are so right…exercise does make a difference in mental health.
Hey Bailey, when I sign up for a vendor space and it's not going to be big enough, I just get a double booth. If it's a really good show, you will make that money back in no time. Congratulations on the new machine. I'm still thinking about getting a multi, as I'm still using my PE770. LOL!
Do you find you sell me t-shirts or sweatshirts being that your in Florida, I want to start selling I’m in Florida as well and it only gets old for like couple of weeks .
I was kind of chuckling when you were talking about fabric at Michaels. They absolutely did not plan out the whole fabric launch very well for Michaels. At my local stores some of them do have these little rolling cutting stations and I still see people taking the fabric to the back because they can't get the stations to stay put. I agree I prefer to see them cut it in front of me so that I can make sure they are cutting it correctly. But anymore I've been ordering the fabric online and having it shipped to me because I don't have time to wait on someone to come and cut it and I've not had any issues with the online process.
Yes mine is not set up for fabric lol, they put it where they used to have yarn and it looks very unorganized! Hopefully they'll come up with a better solution I definitely think the rolling cutting stations seem like more hassle than just putting a small table instead of an aisle in the back! Definitely I think being able to see and interact with the person cutting your fabric eliminates any potential issues! I definitely prefer ordering online too!!
I have so many things I want to sew and not enough time lol. I'm excited to really start getting into bigger projects and trying to actually make clothes for my family. I hope you get started soon and share some tips with me lol!
Thank you so much!! I'm excited to start using it, I unboxed it this week and it is definitely a heavy and sturdy machine!! You'll have to share your tips and tricks!
Do you still sell/make the tumblers? I’ve seen lots of your vids and see/never hear about them. And super excited to see your new sewing machine set up!
I still sell the tumblers but I'm trying to phase out of them since they aren't super great sellers anymore. I still have a good many of the expensive and difficult ones but I'm hoping to move away from them by the end of the year! I'm excited to see my new sewing machine in action too lol
Also, I feel like ordering embroidery designs on Etsy is such a crapshoot. I got a couple of not great quality designs from a seller that, to me, we’re very clearly auto-digitized and she didn’t even understand what I meant when I suggested how she could fix it. But then I have another designer that I’ve purchased several from and her designs are all great.
So sorry for the late reply!! I'm very excited to start using my Juki for sure!! With the brownie file the seller and store looked really good but it was odd that they didn't seem to know how to fix it! Etsy designs really are hit or miss it's so annoying lol
So sorry for the late reply!! I've been working on a video talking about how I find markets that should be up soon! A good way to start is through a google search for local craft fairs that hopefully lead you to a few Instagrams of some local markets near you! I'll have that video out with more tips hopefully in the next few weeks!
I might be missing you saying this but How many inches is it across for the 1.25 inch keyfobs, after it's been folded and sewn so that it can be clipped? I'm trying to add a name on it?
Hey! It really depends on the length you make it and you can also change the length to accommodate the size of the embroidery. Typically speaking it would be half the total length minus the depth of your hardware you choose if that makes sense!
Ok I just commented on the video that you had mentioned this one! I’m the black top tent with pink curtains at 9:10ish ( Ashley Paige Customs 😊) The next month of that market was insane and a total bust. I had my mom with me to help nearly hang on our tent to not fly away 😅 150lbs of weights PLUS me and my mom lol But I love love that market and have vended there for 2 plus years ❤
So sorry for the late reply again lol! I hope you did well at this one even with the rain!! Yes Kasey from Furever Booked said their tent broke at that one!! I would love to try it again maybe if I was able to bring my husband along lol
I think I heard you say market elaine? In Wesley chapel? I’ve been doing that market for over 2 years and LOVE IT! We DID get rained out last month but this past Friday was only 30 min of rain, it should be good through the rest of the year 😊😊
So sorry for the late reply!! I definitely liked Market Elaine it was just too much to have to get my husband to take off work early and then travel and then come home late. It was really fun though!!
You're a good girl. No tipping please. Nobody asked vendors to go to their community. If anything, vendors should even be thanking customers for passing by their stores and checking them out. Customers can always buy online and not tip. Stop the thick-faced tipping culture, people! Your pop-up looked good, btw.
So sorry for the late reply!! Thankfully they were able to come and take my machine to the shop to get fixed, I tried wiggling the wheel and that thing was stuckkkkk it scared me to mess with it lol
Hi Bailey! Any chance you can put one of the boys in your room to sleep for naps, separating them might help??🤷♀️ Also, as they get older you may need to move their bedtime to a later time, even 30-45 mins keeping them up longer might help them to fall asleep better. Hopefully the little one that was waking up is better but I would rub my daughters backs and tell them to close their eyes and I had a story of a perfect, beautiful, little island that we would be at together and describe a pretty place with the birds singing and us playing in the sand and water and telling them how calm it was, you get it, just a special story I would tell them at night while rubbing their backs. My girls are exactly 14 months apart and many times it was like having twins because they liked sleeping together and would stay up and play. The story and back rubs helped to calm them down. Good luck! Be prepared for the stalling to go to bed to last quite a while. Sorry. Haha. My oldest turned 40 in July and my youngest will be 39 at the end of Sept. Time goes by in a blink of an eye. Believe it or not you will miss these days. 💖 P.S. we love hearing about the boys and things you do other than work so you never give TMI. Your stories help us all get to know you better. You have a great personality & we love your videos, you’re our favorite RU-vidr😃
So sorry for the late reply!! I would definitely love to try putting one in our room but they would be getting into allllll kinds of mischief in there lol. They really love jumping on our bed so I fear nap time would be just a bunch of that! We've been trying to have later bedtime here lately and it's still a struggle. They were doing pretty good for a while but the last two days have definitely been a nightmare. One is totally fine at night at the other is irrationally inconsolable. It's good to know that you were able to get through it so it gives me hope I can too lol. Thank you so much for your continued love & support!!
@@googoogoods no worries about how long it takes to reply, you are extremely busy & have so much going on!! 🙏🏼your little man out grows his nighttime terrors and they settle down for you. It sounds like it’s one of the many stages, but frustrating for parents, they are going through. You got this! They will settle down for you and hopefully soon! 💖 We love watching your videos and I learn a lot from you. 🎃🍁🧋🎃Happy Fall ❣️
I do something similar with my designs except I print out the design and write down the thread colors I use. So helpful! Too hard to remember what colors you used. LOL
So sorry for the late reply!! That's a great idea too! I just got my printer fixed semi recently so I'll have to do that next time, that's definitely easier to store lol!
