Now I live in NZ, so less people, but I don't get a lobby with 9 cheaters, I get a lobby with 9 empty chairs. It's casual or CoD. I have noticed that the cheaters actually have accounts with history to them now somehow. You will get a full on cheater with a 10 year service badge and 20 educator upvotes.
As someone who has played TF2, which by divine intervention recently escaped what you seeing in CS2, I'm really sorry but not surprised. I can't even say when cheating for CS2 will be fixed because for TF2 the epidemic went on for five years.
Valve matchmaking is a joke for years, I don't play CS for a few years, but in Dota 2 we have the same problem, not that much about cheaters, but how the MM works and how they just ignore people destroying the game, they dont ban people, they just say "Oh little boy, dont do that, take this small punishment and come back in the real matchmaking after 3 games in a low priority one", that's stupid.
Cs2 skin market doesn't make sense for me. You could put a skin that looks similar to the default one, tell people that theres only less than a hundred of them in a market, then the community will start simping about it.

I quit cs:go 5 years ago because of this same bullshit. I was considering trying out cs2, but after watching this, I've changed my mind. Thank you for saving me from making a huge mistake.
it's also annoying how the game never lets you surrender the match unless someone abandons the match entirely. it would be a bit more tolerable if you could at least surrender and not have anyone lose elo (unless you're a cheater or queuing with cheaters, you deserve a system ban)
"CS is a cash printing cow". You have no evidence of this. You have no idea how much money Valve net's at all. In all likelihood CS2 is not profitable at all which is why nobody is working on it. I think you seriously underestimate mobile sales, a game lie Bejeweled totally eclipses CS2 and doesn't require an army of engineers.
I have warned everyone for years Gabe Newell is a communist, and the only reply I get it "You don't know what communism is." Okay people, now that the entire Valve ecosystem has collapsed without this guy saying a word, do you understand now that a communist holds nothing in reverence and only looks to exploit the working class in order to pay all of his unskilled friends who surround him? Valve objectively doesn't have a skilled engineer working for the entire corporation any longer - what evidence is there? No product is being maintained, no new technologies are successful, it is one failed idea after the next since 2008. Their engineers don't even have the skill to develop a server browser. I warned everyone about communist, this is a direct effect of that. Hiring your friends and hiring based on 'diversity' rather on ones actual engineering capabilities is why this entire corporation is arrested in development.
