There is definitely a weird psychological element for me when I am playing against lower ranks. I play unranked sometimes and I play so much worse sometimes because IDK I'm just thinking like a silver or something? I'm definitely playing stupider on purpose for funsies sometimes but sometimes I just get rekt! Then I go play a game as a Supreme and do more than well enough to win a match lol

In R6 Siege, at least in my opinion, the shotguns are very balanced because of the 1 bullet to the head and you´re dead mechanic. Therefore making it actually a viable option to switch to your secondary
Tried a shotgun only game on AK2 rank, they are so clueless on that rank so even shotguns are op :'D Should not be a problem for you! I tried to get global with P250 only once but i stopped at supreme cause my teamates did noooot like it.
Are you allowed to use your pistol in buy rounds? I think you should be. It's part of the versatility of shotguns, you can use p250 or something beside it and have a killer build

I don't know if you'll ever stumble to this comment but shotguns are quite good if you know how to play. Either get yourself close to them or them close to you. Don't try to fight them at mid or longer range unless they are low or you just want to lower their health. Nades and mollies are your best friend to help lowering their health and easier to kill wherever you aim. And try to aim the head MOST of the time because shooting on the head will serve better purposes whether you want to lower their health or kill at mid range. Use covers more often and shouldn't go out in the open too much. One thing you should know is that what disadvantages you will have when using shotgun. You won't be able to shoot far, you will instantly die in 1v1 if you messed up your shot, you won't be able to kill the next target if there's more than 2 enemies, aiming with shotgun is harder than smg/awp/rifles,... Knowing all these and if you can solves all those disadvantages (he's too far I shouldn't peek with shotgun, instantly get back or to cover if i messed up my shot, 3 of them are coming and i should try best only 1v1 to them,...). Keep in check your mistakes and you'll get better with shotty. As for the guns, mag-7 is a good gun 'cuz of how tight the spread is with it downside is the magazine,(which you can't shoot while reloading) but XM1014 is a better choice for multiple targets or a better shotgun's firing rate.XM1014 is also good for run and gun if you can move and aim well (not the same as using P90 rushing B). Unless you're on tight money below 2000$, Nova is still a viable option and it requires only 1050$ (same as Mac10), which you still can buy an armor with a smoke, a flash or a nade and it only need 1 kill almost to fill the money you used to buy Nova. I wouldn't suggest using sawn off as it how horrible the spread is but it's your choice to use it, the kill is still the same. Reloading shotgun shells somehow is silent so you can reload even if you stand near them except the mag-7. There are quite more stuffs I want to say about the shotguns as I recently use it and already 2 matches I can reach up to 30 kills (mostly XM1014) but I can't remember them all. I just find using those meta weapons so boring and wanting to try something new (run n' gun bizon and shotguns). I think best way to play this is to have fun (and practice a bit if you feel like it) but best if you try it in the real thing and I mean in official matchmaking competitive (I don't know about Faceit or ESEA but it's possible to reach at least to LE at this rate in competitive). If people ever complain about you using shotgun just ignore them and you can always prove them back that you can use shotgun better than them, otherwise it was just your practice. Just have fun using it and you'll be good in short time. Tl;dr: try best shooting on the head,Mag-7 is fine although XM1014 feels better, know your disadvantages, use more cover and most importantly just have fun P/s: try using square crosshair with thickness around 8.0, very useful for mid range
Jeff I watch everything you post either way, but this is not my favorite series. Maybe you can go back to "Global Elite with ... only", that's my favourite series. It doesn't matter if you redo some weapons. You can try no equipment (nades, armor, kit)
