I love this cake❤. It appeared in Ukraine, in my city, maybe only few years ago, before covid I guess. and as far as I know our bakers make this gorgeous red colour adding cherry juice😊 and it tastes great.
I really don’t understand the popularity of red velvet, it has no flavor but is only vanilla with food coloring. Like just eat simple vanilla cakes people, saves you the food coloring expenses that do nothing other than visuals!
My mom is a baker but we live in Switzerland so it’s hard to get red food coloring because it’s not natural I think she uses magenta food coloring mixed with cocoa it comes out burgundy red
Oh my gosh! They are so beautiful! If you make these ahead of time, do you refrigerate them and if so, how long do you think you could do that? Would two or three days be ok, in your opinion ?
