This guy does what every HD or Indian owner does. They spend 30K+ for the miserable bike. Then they dump another 8K into the bike to try and make theirs different. Then if they try to sell the bike, they take a huge hit. I know. I owned 2 HD and lost big-time money on upgrades trading in or outright selling. I got sick and tired of HD and their proprietary crap. You must have a Sena HD headset to use the WHIM. Could you give me a break? Sena sounds like shit. This particular bike rates 122HP. My BMW K1600B will smoke this Indian, which is stock rated at 160HP. I paid a lot less for German engineering. I stopped riding HD after 40 years.
It's an awesome machine... I have the 23' Pursuit and just turned 25,000 miles on it... If you do have anything come up with it, change the Keyfob battery, 90% of my problems with the 17' Chieftain was resolved with changing the Keyfob battery... Enjoy...
I hate the floppy lollipops on the rear of my Spirit but I don't mind the front L-Pops as much. I'm gonna remove the rear L-Pops for a smaller LED set and install clear lenses on the front with LED lamp replacement. I will likely need a compatible flasher relay.
Yeah ok? Pretty sure at the very least you need at least one driveshaft. I pretty sure they were saying in German only dummies would think this is possible so we can leave out most of the important shit 🤪😂😂
The Germans designed their own version of a Jeep in WW2. Superior performance in every way. By the end of the war, they had finished 9 of them because each took so long to machine and assemble. Beautiful vehicles beautifully made, but utterly impractical for their intended purpose. Like my Audi. 😂
I bought both because the resistor is going and the fan is being affected and sounds grindy, rather do both and not go back in; it was maybe $60-70 for both on eBay/Amazon
@@jdubb67 you’re welcome! Yeah if they are all mostly made in Asia, no reason to spend more than you have to lol I’ve done so much on this dart and even an extra ground from negative terminal to the side of what I’m told is the fuse box but it looks more like the ECM, apparently Crystler had a few made instead of the normal Fiat group, and some of these cars have bad vibrations and electrical gremlins, due to a painted over ground that doesn’t conduct. Love the car but it’s as bad as a NG Saab/GM Frankenstein 😂
I'm also installing an older blower after the one i had in got filled with water. It was a bitch to get out and now trying to figure out the best way to the other back in. Fun times. You seem to have more space underneath. My wheel arch makes it incredibly difficult to remove and install blowers
@@jdubb67 I don't know if there's a difference between the LHD and RHD variants? I ended up breaking some of the fins when taking the blower out, it's almost impossibly tight. I don't want to break the fins now while I'm putting in another blower and not really wanting to disassemble half the damn car to get it in lol but yeah
@@jdubb67 compared to your video it looks like I have a bit less space. You know what they say about just a little extra 🤣 but yeah good chat, good vid and I'll let you know if I'm successful, unsuccessful, or I've burnt the damn car lol
If you watch the video in reverse some guys pick apart a Jeep in less then 4 minutes for no apparent reason while some guy with a microphone comments on them doing it.
Hey Dubb, It's nice to see the new paint in the sunshine. The closeups show how much flake and pearl are in the paint, but I'm sure the video still doesn't do it justice. I believe that you've done a great job customizing your bike, that's the first step to making it your own. The next step is to get out and get to know it by putting on the miles. I would like to see some videos on the different seats that you tryout. I have a 28" inseam so I'm looking for something with a narrow nose that doesn't go back any further than stock. If you happen to run across one that is more comfortable than a stock Pursuit seat I'd really like to hear about it. I personally don't ride with anybody but myself. The solitude is what I crave, start, stop and decide which road to take has always been the path for me. Once you get completely comfortable with the bike I'm sure you'll do more solo riding. Keep the rubber side down.
Thanks yes the paint came out great and you're right the vid doesn't do it justice! As far as the seat goes that gonna be my next endeavor, I don't mind 💨 song alone in fact I do quite a bit of it just enjoy longer trips with friends. The miles will come unfortunately so far this year the big factor has been the damn weather bout had it with this rain. Hopefully the speaker kids will be down soon and get that installed. Thanks for your continued support! Ride safe my friend
@@jdubb67 The weather has turned from cool and dry to 100° heat indexes and afternoon lightning storms here in south Louisiana. I did get the winter months and up to a couple of weeks ago to ride. Now it's going to be selective until the storms stop, and I'll be able to get outside without melting. But there are those days to get out and head up into Mississippi for a few hours to get away from the heat and let the Pursuit breathe.
