Cub Cadet XT 1 Enduro FAILURE!!! steering is gone! 

Good on customer service for getting it resolved quickly. I watch my steering gears closely and use a dry lubricant on them. No problems yet but the gears open to the world like that always concern me.

Mine works great and mine is a 2022 Xt1 Lt 46”. Got it new. I’ve put mine through a lot of land works flawless. I only replace1 of my spindles that’s all and new blades of course

My key switch is the same way. but if I push hard on the bottom left of the triangle it will work.

I believe mine is a 2021 model, likely barely past warranty, and a few of the teeth are stripped on the gear. Still functions but has 'hang-ups' when turning. Steering is quite difficult at times, probably leading to the stripped teeth. Got to lubricate regularly. Actually disappointed in the reliability of these considering the price they ask these days! At least they look nice and have good power. Hope warranty will cover, not holding my breath.

You look like a big guy I'm thinking the wheel went into a hole or something and got jammed. All that weight just snapped it. If it happened to me I'd weld it back together and plate over that void to make it one solid part. I don't bother with warranty unless it's something really expensive. If I can fix it and get back to my day I'm happier with that.

So, I bought mine used and my switch isn’t right either.
