Fishing fresh and salt water for those trophy fish. Airboating to get to those hard to get to places. Getting dirty doing those 4x4 mudding things. Riding my Harley's across this beautiful country of ours. Traveling with our RV camper.
I also like to review fishing, boating, RV, and Harley products.
Those lures are really nice. I airbrush lures for a hobby and really enjoy seeing what others are doing. I'm pretty new at it, but I'm having a great time. It's cool to see custom baits catching fish!
Mike ,awesome & detailed video. I just got a 2019 RT188,came with the cover, the guy who i brought it from really didnt use the cover, ihave a ultrex trolling motor on my boat, the cover doesnt fit like yours because my trolling motor sits flush with the front of the boat,I see your trolling motor head is ahead a bit and sits flush with the side, think i may have to move the Ultrex. not sure if the Ultrex is longer than the motor you have. thanks for the video Mike
Just re-re-watched your review; any updates after operating it for ~4 years? Would you make the same purchase again? Anything you would add/delay or do differently? Appreciate your content! 👍🏼
@@screamineaglebasscatcher8311 You bet, appreciate and enjoy your content. Do the lockers on your 188P stay dry during rain/inclement weather? Have heard these boats run pretty wet but would value your input. Thanks!
@@alltacklenoboat The lockers on my boat do not stay dry. I have come up with a solution for me. I found a lid from a jar that covers the locking apparatus , then I put a small rock bean bag on top for weight. It works well…
Cómo me gustaría tener mi airboat y acompañarlos a todos ustedes en esos maravillosos paseos por los pantanos. Saludos desde Colombia donde tenemos una vida algo diferente.
We have the same wheel chock for ours. We just purchased a Toy Hauler instead of doing the cargo trailer conversion (think the boss got tired of waiting on me to finish), and I was wondering how I was going to secure the chock to the floor. Now I see I do not need to. Appreciate the knowledge.
@@screamineaglebasscatcher8311 I bought one from Sealskin that was probably a good cover for protecting a boat from the elements but was too loose for towing so I returned it. Dowco makes a great cover so I guess I’m going to bite the bullet and pay up for one. Thanks for the info.
Enjoyed the video. But you do know your not using those chocks the right way don`t you. But they only require two tie downs to secure the bike. I know after years of tying down bikes using like 10 tie downs for each bike LOL. It`s hard to get it in your head as it was for us that only 2 is all you need with these condor chocks. Save yourself some time and sweat by tying down the straps/bike down from the middle of the bike after all that is where condor tells you do tie them down. By doing this the bikes front and rear suspension is compressed at the same time. So no need for a rear strap if you wanted for a piece of mine you could run a lose one to the handle bars. On your big bike use the bar in front of the saddle bag and the small one to the mid frame is good. FYI don`t just put the tie down around the leg of the chock the strap can and will slide in towards the wheel which losing up the strap. Ask my friend John how we know this LOL. Put a eye hook in the whole in the end of the leg. Hope this helped you some.
Thanks for the info with the chocks. We decided not to mount the chocks to the floor, so we had to strap the back of the bikes down in case I hit the brakes hard. I told my wife I want to put eyelets on the chocks instead of wrapping the straps under the legs. Thanks again for the advice.
@@screamineaglebasscatcher8311 Great to hear because seeing that I was waiting to see a video on how one of the bikes fell into the other because the tie down moved. Do you have the small flat black mounting plate for the chock. If not there like $30 and mount to the floor the chock slides right into the plate and locks it in with a small thumbscrew takes like 30 seconds to do. They`re pretty small and low to the floor which allows you to mount and remove the chock very easy. True the plate stays on the floor but like I said it`s small you probably wouldn`t know it`s there. Safe travels my friend.
Have you been happy with the chocks? It appears they are not mounted to floor. I'm hesistant to hard mount anything to the toyhauler floor. This looks like a good setup.
We are happy with the chocks. We did not mount them to the floor, instead we used a strap and secured the chocks from moving side to side. We really like our setup…
Just got a RT178C. I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to do this. The fella at Bass Pro went over it, but there was a lot of information to try to retain that day.
Fun times, glad you guys were okay.......been 35 years ago for me, but loved running my boat out there....I built it from scratch, full deck aluminum hull with a little 4 cylinder aircraft engine, great memories.
Great video, I filmed a few adventures to the same spot awhile back too. Maybe we can get together, and get a fishing video, or something done together. Subscribed 👍
