The BUL Armory *BAO system* is, by far, _thee_ superior mounting system for optics on pistols. However, I highly doubt they [BUL] would be willing to part with the patent. Stay classy my friends.
I'd love to pick one of these up, but I'm guessing they'll MSRP at 1000+ which I refuse to spend on a gun designed in the late 1800's. Either way, it looks like a sweet pistol.

I was considering picking up one of your more modernized models too, but I was getting frustrated because there was nothing with an RDO cut outside of the Prodigy line. Looks like that’s fixed now, so perfect timing! Any idea when they’ll be available?
Just purchased a HC9319BOSP today, 08/21/2024, and signed up for the promo bundle that gives 3 extra magazines, range bag and optical sight. (Who knows when that will actually show up). Also own an original XD40 and a Saint 15 with the PIC gas block. I'm so glad I never let my firearms instructor talk me into a Glock. I love Springfield-Armory!
This will not work with a 15 round mag without bending out the spring retention at the bottom. In order to remove the base plate without a hole at the bottom, locate the slot at the bottom front of the mag. Take a flathead and push on it while pulling the base plate. Hope this helps.
I'm interested in the hellcat pro stainless in California. Will this pistol qualify for the gear up package? Also I'm interested in buying two of the exact same pistol will this work for each pistol for the gear up package? Also I wanted to asked what is a common question in order to complete this promotion or mistakes people make for this promo to complete this gear up package?
