Video Travels Around Cape Town, Saldanha and Laingburg. I currently shoot all my videos on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra switching between 4k 30fps and 4k 60fps.

Nice to see a decent number of passengers inside the EMUs. The coaches of the malmsbury don't look like they have the lights on inside, or have they been dimmed?. Enjoyed the incoming shot of the 18Es with that cement train. Nice work👌🏾
Thanks nice video I must say those diesels sound very healthy and in good working condition unlike the others I have seen. Do they use this diesels permanently on the MALMESBURY train
Hi I was on the Atlantic Rail steam train yesterday, it went past De Grendal twice, I am not sure if you captured it or not. I have a video of passing by the area.
I'm glad this compilation consists of the custom painted blue 20Es only. They really suit the train so perfectly. The best locomotives the blue train has had, in my opinion.
I agree 100% with you Marval. These blue 20Es should stay on the Blue Train, and if they're out of service, they should allocate and paint 2 other corresponding numbered 20Es.
@@kobusdewet5004 yeah, always apartheid and colonialists fault. I have suffered under those evil systems, . but I have put that in the past and moved ahead. From the son of an indentured labourer to a chemical engineer. I have worked hard to be where I am today. From the sugarcane fields of KZN To the vineyards of the Western Cape. I have made it happen for myself, never begging the government or anyone else for anything.
Now 28 years since they got an almost pristine country and it has been reduced to near rubble by African mentality. Imagine if they ran this previously beautiful country from around 1900 when the British were in charge. Eish, would have been a wasteland sooner.
Hey there, is the 10M3, 5M2A or X'Trapolis Mega more common in your area? I usually only see the X'Trapolis Mega from Cape Town when going to Fish Hoek, but I also see the 5M2A Shuttle for Fish Hoek to Simon's Town. One problem, the shuttle is suspended, but other people have seen the X'Trapolis Mega and 10M3 there as well. I look forward to a response.
So far, the recent consist has been the X'trapolis, but i think when things pick up in January and people start working, the 5M2A and 10M5s will be used more. Koeberg depot has a lot of X'trapolis staged there, some seem to be in service when driving on the M5 overlooking into the yard.
@@Imsaptouw I see, I go past the area regularly. I think you mean Salt River Station, due to the fact that Koeberg Road Station doesn’t have a depot. Isn’t the 10M5 only used in Kwazulu-Natal? I thought they had specific names for specific regions. The only regions which don’t have the 10M series is Port Elizabeth and East London.
@@Imsaptouw Ok no sorry I am confused now, it either looks like Ysterplaat, Salt River or Koeberg Road, I am honestly confused. Edit: It could even be Espalande Station.
@@Imsaptouw No worries, I also do trainspotting, I have yet to release a video on my spottings, such as the 5M2A, X'Trapolis Mega and Malmesbury Metro (The only ones I have footage of being in operation, Malmesbury Metro only leaving Cape Town Station, the others all over the Southern Line).
Same here. This station looks horrible. I can imagine what the tourists think when they run through the dilapidated stations on The Blue Train and Rovos.
