In that battle Ivar was controlling his men ain't no way you going to tell me man wasn't the way he initiated each strike exactly how they cut ain't no way you not going to convince me he wasn't
The dad choose BJORN originally but he declined. Ivar wanted his fathers attention desperately because his dad dumped him in the beginning and the dad realised that Ivar was desperate for his love the most.
😢💔🙏 t amo hermano por la culpa de una vivora yo estoy para protejerte no perdón a igual no olvido no guardo rencor en mi corazón y que sea Dios todo poderoso el que los perdone
unpopular opinion: there was some major casting issues with some of the sons of ragnar. bjorn and ivar are superb but the importance of Ubbe for example was lost on picking an actor that LOOKED more like the dad than acted as travis did. no offense to jordan he was good but i just mean it would have made it for the sons's arc much more interesting. same with hvitserk, marco was fantastic too but they could have given him more power scenes less "follower" scenes he's not just that
Bjorn and Ivar the eldest and the youngest. I hate how it wound up how they wound up against each other Ragnar wouldn’t have wanted it this way but it was their destiny. In the end they both achieved fame.
It's hilarious to see that the one who separated Ragnar's children was Lagertha when she killed Aslaug, this caused the whole war, Ivar wanting to avenge his mother, and Bjorn knowing he was wrong could do nothing but defend his mother, a cycle of pure revenge and maternal protection lol
Ivar is proof never to underestimate the runt, or the baby of the family especially a dysfunctional one. He bares all of the shunning plus the lessons and hardships of watching the rest of his family struggle and strife with each other. They made ivar what he is
Bjorn never wanted a lifetime battle with his brother like he told Rollo and yet, Ivar literally rams a sword through his chest. Ubbe was the only real winner.
