And you are very Beautiful as well! I've gotten board with my natural hair because I didn't really know what to do with it. I don't straighten is as much because I enjoy taking hot baths more now than I did when I was younger so of course my roots would sweat out easily. I can't wait to try your recommendations! Thank you again!

My Cousin JoAnn Kennedy already uses the Cantu Shea Butter Dandruff Treatment and Leave in Conditioner, now because of this very very beautiful lady advice, she gonna use all the Cantu Products. Thanks a lot.😍😍😍
You just filmed my hair routine lol with only difference is I don’t use a towel on my hair and I apply my leave in the shower and then apply my gel or mousse outside of the shower ❤
Ain’t no way u walked out of that salon looking like that 😮 I’m just baffled!! I wonder what caused the front to straighten! Smh that’s a shame. I’d be so angry!
Same thing happened to me 3 years ago. My hair was long and thick when I went it. Came out exactly like u and I could only be mad at myself because she was the 6th person who ruined my hair. I will never try again. I know this feeling. It’s heartbreaking. My hair was sooo much shorter and thinner and I had heat damage because I had a silk press. It’s 2023 now and i would’ve been at waist length but I’m still 5 inches shy because I had to trim so much damage off for 1 1/2 year after the damage
Soooo sorry this happened to you. This is awful! I had a similar experience a few days ago and I’ve lost sleep over losing the hair I worked so hard to grow. We naturals need to learn how to cut our own hair. Going to a salon is a recipe for disaster it seems. Most ladies I know with very long natural hair never go to the salon. 😢
I had my hair done today…. They took 6 inches off when I asked for a trim and they thinned it out. I cried but you know what I’ll make an appointment at deeper than hair and get them to make it even and start over. I’ll get 6 inches back in a year I know I can do it. I’m just in shock. But everyone’s telling me I can grow it back and hair DOES grow back so it will be ok.
Olaplex did break my hair and I didn't use henna. I think the bond builder became too much for my hair. After 5 washes, one per week, my hair began to feel like dry grass, very stiff and knotted.
I use 0-9 and my hair is quite happy with me! I use heat once a month using no 6,7 & 9 and every wash day with olaplex 0-5 with no. 8 and my curls clump back together!
Thank you for the video! Question: I just watched your video on the aphogee treatment and wanted to know if the olaplex and this can be used together? Not simultaneously but is it effective to use one every other week? What did you do?
Hi Michelle Olaplex can be used weekly. It's a bond repairing product and does not contain protein so can be used more frequently. Aphogee on the other hand is a strong protein treatment which could not be used more than every 6 weeks
Girl I want to thank you profoundly for sharing your story. I spent 2 years and a half growing my hair and yesterday I went to the salon and the stylist cut much much more than what I asked for. I cried myself to sleep yesterday. I don't want to think about how much time it'll take to grow back. It's like she chopped a part of my spirit. I feel you.
Why would you need to detangle your hair before appointment ,your going to hairdresser there meant to do that? This Curl bar just cowboys hairdresser I notice on her salon page shes got rid of male stylist and only has females who dont mention if they have qualification.
Please , next time you go to Salon don't judge book by its cover .To many Cowboys like Nia giving real hairdressers a bad name. Please ask to see qualification ? If they have it they wont have problem showing it. And dont let them change stylist on you when you came from Cambridge .
This just upset me, l spend 3 years doing NVQ in hairdressing in Manchester and you got Cowboy like Nia from Curl bar starting salon knowing she has no hairdressing qualifications and hire people you dont. People don't understand there no law in Uk that's stops unqualified person opening Hair Salon. One of the reasons they mess up your hair is the staff aren't qualified. Looks at there website they don't offer braiding, colour. They don't mention what qualification they have. To pass hairdressing qualification you have to be able to braid ,cut ,blow dry and colour. That's why Curl Bar don't offer those services as they staff don't have Hairdressing qualification. They live off Nature hair movement and rope ladies with natural curls wanting good haircare. Then those ladies dont ask to see there qualifications
Dont cry your beautiful and have lovely hair .To be honest the owners isnt trained hairdresser .Do you know if the any stylist is trained or has NVQ VRQ in hairdressing? As its strange they do curly hair but dont braid, cornrow or colour .Sounds like none of those so called stylist has any hairdressing qualification.
No bra strap length for me (Male). I have this afro that's just stuck at the same length for 2 years. Grew another inch back in Jan 2021. Had some cornrows in for 1 month. Now I try the same method and my hair just sheds out of the cornrows. Now I'm not sure what to do.
I had a healthy thick afro. And this stylist with bleach blond boy haircut ruined it. She Blow dried my hair straight with a rat tail comb.... Like.. I prefer to wear my afro out. She messed up the curls.. it's just limp now. 😥
I went through a similar experience last year. My hair is slowly recovering but what an unnecessary set back. I’m so sorry this happened to you, your beautiful tresses will recover in time, I hate this for you.
It's crazy how so many of us have had such awful experiences but at least we learn from it. I'm glad your hair is getting back to a healthy state. Thanks also for your well wishes ❤️
